| That was the most enjoyable game I've been to in a long time. Yes it was raining but it was more about the pressure they put Huddersfield under. They absolutely battered quite a few of the giants (grix, hodgson to name two) and made them make mistakes. Great performance by whitehead, he put some thundering hits and was strong with ball in hand. I thought Herbert looked very accomplished at hb today too. Everyone contributed, Donaldson had his best game I've seen so far.
I can't understand why Bradford fans would want to focus on the negatives after such a good performance. Yes we should have done better against Hull. I didn't see the Cas game so won't comment. But why can't people be happy in what was a great performance?

| Great Game - I think it was nearly 15 minutes before Huddersfield had the ball in our half (ball in hand that is).
Biggest improvement for me today was the decision making in attack. Reminded me of the old days where we either scored or got another set of 6 from a drop out.
People had been making comments all week on the fitness of the players and i think they may have had a point. When we're not defending the entire half (due to the multiple mistakes we usually make), we didn't look tired - in fact, can't remember that many occasions when the players were stood with hands on hips.
Tom Burgess is such an exciting prospect - if you compare his game stats to Fe'ka at Salford, they are pretty even (Fe'ka has more offloads to his game). The impact he is making during recent games, makes me think he will be the real deal in a few more years. If i was Potter or Hood, i'd be looking at handing a 3 year extension to what he currently has. Can't afford to let this home grown talent leave!
Best game i have seem from Whitehead for ages - well done that lad, and the backs were solid in defence, big hits by Platt early on. Raynor seems to be getting better every week, another big performance.
Not saying we are world-beaters but it goes to show that with 2/3 new signings, we should be able to compete with the big teams on a weekly basis. I was delighted with the win, but also soooooooo frustrated we had to wait until mid July to see this performance!
If we can gain confidence for next season by playing similar for the rest of the season, Mr Potter, just might be able to turn the ship around.

| What an amazing performance. I couldn't believe my eyes! I kept thinking there was going to be a wobble but the dominance of the tackle was incredible.
We were a constant pain in the Giants backsides and never let them get a roll on. A truly super performance. Lynch led the props immensely and I'm going to be smiling for a few hours yet.
On a side note, when was the last time we nilled someone at Odsal? I can't remember if I've ever seen the Bulls nill anyone.

| That was the most complete performance from a Bulls team I've seen in years. Tactically astute, the early kicking game in the first half and our willingness to tackle in numbers and with ferocity absolutely killed Hudds. Combine that with being able to control the PTB because we got numbers in and all of a sudden our backs could step up and begin to control things, which Jefferies and Herbert did excellently, even saw signs of Herbert organising things. We also played a if it weren't raining and made very few errors. I must admit that after brough's early 40:20 in the first half I feared a try back for them might spark a collapse, but the commitment of our defense was superb and Hudds coughed it up repeatedly. A big pack out today - Lynch, Hargreaves, Burgess, Scruton and Koppy meant we effectively played with 5 props available and wow did it make a difference, absolutely battered the Giants. None of that 3 prop nonsense Macca tried to get away with, and an imaginative short kicking game from Jefferies and Elliot! Worked a treat. Brilliant!

| Astonished by todays performance. The Giants fans can say they were poor but our line speed, aggression and energy in defence constantly put the pass under pressure and time and again they cracked. One moment when O'Donnell who is a good player looked up before spilling the ball just said we were actually hurting them in defence instead of being passive. The big lads were excellent but a word for Donno who's had his knockers but his work/enthusiasm in defence reminded me of Mike Forshaw.
I winced when the centres were read out but both, Sykes in particular were superb. Jeffries had a cracker and after giving up hope I thought Herbert passed ball flatter, faster and farther than I've seen him so far.
Brilliant afternoon.

| Superb performance. 1 - 17 were outstanding. Huddersfield won't poor, we made them look poor with aggressive defence and sound attack. Need to back up against Warrington though.

| Excellent performance at every level, but special mention has to be made of the defense. Aggressive and committed defence clearly rattled Huddersfield to the point where it was them, not us, who coming up with silly errors and cheap penalties.
From the first kick off right through to the end there was a 100% committed attitude of 'we're not going to give this lot a sniff in this game. It really was wonderful to see. Almost certainly too late for the Top 8, but we're now building for next season - and with a couple of key additions, we look like we can build something decent. Optimism at last....

| Quote: Adeybull "Some might read that post and suggest you must be a right miserable sod (albeit not alone). For my part, I will let others make their own judgment, and just observe that I find it so much more satisfying catching people doing things right (as we did 1-17 today) than catching people doing things wrong.
Oh, and did you see the game today? It is a huge insult to the Bulls team to suggest that the result was down to a "horrendous off day for Huddersfield". That, sir, IMO is bollox.'"
I am sure RTB will have a sleepless night tonight worrying about your comments Adey but he need not TBH.
FFS, it was a great result but the OTT reaction on here about a win against Huddersfield shows exactly how far we have fallen as a side.
People on the other boards will be laughing at some of the posts on here and rightly so.
Personally I would rather be a miserable sod than a pompous prick.

| Well MP's kicking certainly got the Team stepping up and being more consistent, someone mentioned that the kicking game was better, hmmm it was luckier than of late whereas Broughs kicking was consistently far better but our defence actually stood up to be counted! The tackling was a lot better than of late and they actually kept it going especially the second half when heads drop and mistakes are more common. It makes a differnce when the opposition are made to defend all the time, in fact Shudda players looked a bit knackered in the last 10mins of the !st half allowing Tom to make some impressive yardage. so why did MP send him out in the first 10mins of the 2nd half? when he was a lot less effective and then later on caused him to ball drop a few times which fortunately didn't have an adverse effect as would have been the case recently. We have Wire next who will despite what will be a tough arm wrestle with the Pies will be a test to see how good we could have been this season!! So it's better but should have better for much longer!

Not at all, it shows the fair and indeed somewhat bemused reaction to an unexpectedly superb 80 minute performance from the whole team.
You disparage it as merely "a win against Huddersfield", but this was not about the opposition (though undoubtedly shellacking a top 4 side adds to it), it is all about how the Bulls played, on the day. However much you want to pour scorn, on this occasion, it doesn't matter, and just sounds silly. the team were superb, and deserve the very fair credit they are getting.

Maybe you would, though I don't really see any obvious reason why either unfortunate condition is more desirable than the other. But as we often see, the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

| As I don't go week in, week out anymore that was probably the best Bradford performance I've seen since 2006 (not that I think I've missed many good ones).
It is slightly annoying that a long overdue good performance comes when there's no game next week to keep the momentum from it going.
