Talk about been melodramatic! It was a mistimed attempt at dislodging the ball, nothing more.

| He has to make a desperate attempt to tackle, dis lodge ball at last minute against a very quick man, who then hits his head on the hard ground which makes it look worse.
Red card? possibly but without the knock out on the ground Tomkins would have been up on his feet and no red card. You can bet Ganson and touchie didnt realise impact hitting the ground had, they wouldnt have seen that, i needed replay on TV to see collision with ground
Well done Bulls anyhow, some pride & passion at last

So by using the word assault you know that Raynor definately went in to attack the player rather than the ball? In the replays from the popular end it looks like Raynor actually tries to pull his arm back at the last minute.
I don't deny that it was a clumsy or mistimed but I have no evidence that the intent to attack the player rather than the ball was there. You see some tackles and it's obvious that the intent was there and I don't think this was one of those.

| Kyle Briggs had a good game today, his kicking was pretty good, few dodgy passes between him and Jeffries but they linked up quite well today.

I thought we looked good in attack, he'll only get better the more games he plays.
I know some people on here talk about his defensive game or the clubs view of that, but I'd take that weakness any day of the week to get the creativity and attacking game he brings.

| Although we lost I'm really really proud of us. Was a fantastic effort and the lads should take some confidence.
Shame we lost Raynor, just had a bit to much to do. 13 men on the field and we win that game IMO.
The value of Langley to this team was there for all to see. I really liked our backrow today. All three get through a mountain of work and if we had a full squad to choose from that's what I would select. Really looking forward to the next few weeks.

| Good performance... shame about the result. Lets hope we can build on this to the end of the season.

| Just back from the game, such an atmosphere at Odsal to say there were less there today! The ref spoilt the game in my eyes, we could have won that with the extra man-Wigan got lucky at times. Proud of the bulls!

| Just got back and all credit to the lads. Without a doubt the best performance I,ve seen this year, total commitment, just what we needed to kick start the season. Roll on next week

| Just back. Gutted. Ganson does it again.
Well played Bradford. And what a bunch of sore winners the Wigan fans I spoke to were. Disappointing.
And to the one who seemed to personally blame us for Raynor trying to "take his ******* head off" in front of my daughter - you must be so proud.

There was.
Two weeks ago.
Lynch was poleaxed for no reason. Nothing was done about it on the day. Most folk thought it deserved red. The toerag culprit was banned when the incident was looked at later.
It is the inconsistency gets on our collective wick. Especially since it so often seems to be us on the wrong side of it.
And you must be very brave to call it an assault - potentially libelous, that.

| Reading Garry ([sizethe[/size least succesful "expert" to comment on the game) Schofield in the Daily Star Sunday (an article that had a picture of Les and Shontayne with the sub "Lesley Vainikolo and Robbie Paul" and a picture of last years squad with the sub "is this the worst Bulls team in Superleague" despite Schofield saying it was this years team) today we are finished and have resorted to signing Championship players who are clearly not up to it .
In my honest opinion the two best players on the pitch were Shad Royston and Kyle Briggs.

Raynor spoiled the game with his assault on Tomkins.
