The sanctions are given to the member, which in this case was BB2014.

As they were running the Bulls team in the league at the time the sanctions were imposed, these points de facto disappeared from the league table.

Any new owner would have to go through the process of applying to be a member of SL and then to join SLE, that application would be to take over the Bulls franchise so that the new owners' team could take the place of the previous Bulls.

The obvious answer would be if yes, then that includes starting where the previous one left off.

As no sanctions would have been applied to the new owners, they could not on the face of it apply to vary them. it would just be something that happened before their time.

Anyway it's almost certainly academic as I can't imagine there is anyone out there with either the ability or the willingness to pay all the old club's creditors which would be the only reason the RFL might have listened. The corollary of which though must be that that's the old creditors royally fooked, as only a lunatic would pay them and still take the full hit.

The fine was taken from the bulls but it was to ensure the directors are willing to clear some debts so that they don't receive the max penalty, so a new company in charge would need to go through the ratification process surely? And the RFL would need to get involved to look at the financials (that worked swimmingly) so it is totally possible that pts are given back, would like to see the RFLs press release on that would be a good read. If I was Lamb for instance who was looking to purchase that is a bquestion I would want answering before I make my finally decisions.

That Rimmer goes on Sky and repeats the thrust of the argument after a SL meeting in Hull suggests that the clubs support the RFL line. Indeed there has been no dissenting SL voice re RFL actions.

It appears the RFL are deducting 6 points AND insisting that to get a license certain creditors MUST be paid.

Here's a thought! Maybe instead of blindly defending new owners whilst slagging off previous ones, only for the new owners to become previous owners themselves and get the Adeybull treatment, why not accept the fact that Bradford Bills have AGAIN found themselves unable to live within their means and as such, have left themselves open to sanction by the games governing body. Rather than blaming the RFL, previous owners, prior administrators, the tooth fairy and that bitch Thatcher, why not accept that this isn't the early 2000's.....the Bills aren't a big club any more and you may have to get used to away trips to Sheffield and Halifax next year.

So, only if Bradford Bulls 2014 Ltd take control, is the 6point penalty confirmed? If someone else takes over then the circumstances for sanctions will be re-assessed? Thats how it's reading to me, from all the various statements that have been made.
