think the lack of available quota spots ( assuming kearney and millard/walker signings are confirmed) meaning the nrl clubs can use players in a swap deal and the big price tag we've put on sam has meant the NRL clubs are going to wait and get him on a free at end of next season.

think its been mentioned by caisley in an interview that he has a get out clause to go to NRL at end of 2010 season.

I've heard it's a done deal with South Sydney and that Burgess will be there 2010.

I heard there will be a player swap.

Souths will give Bradford two players but it will be for the 2011 season.
I can't reveal the names of the Souths players on the open forum but they would definitely do well in the ESL.

Why would we release Burgess for 2010 to get players in 2011? Those players could get a career ending injury in 2010 or simply decide that actually they don't fancy coming over afterall. We might find that our priorities for oversea's recruitment change in a years time. We have Hall and L'Estrange signed up for 2 or more years and we've apparently signed Kearney for 2 years. We're only allowed 5 quota players so it would certainly be a gamble making decisions now for 2011 unless the players mentioned are TOP quality signings.
