Not at all, the fact its the Bulls is irrelevant. As others have said, the sports in a mess and backwards penny pinching decision like this hold the sport back.

The poll was the most ridiculous thing I've seen. I don't think we've got it right on the statements. Chalmers was clearly angry and maybe should have uses a more "disappointment" tone than anger whereas Workingtons completely fed the "bulls bullying us argument" with social media lapping it up. Many were on our side including nearly every RL journo, but it got lost in the "bulls bullying Workington" social media meltdown lad by mainly Fac fans amd others who missed the point like "it's their stadium they can do what they like" The fact no ones made anything of the fact Workington think we should market THEIR home game says everything.

Just a quick question, hope Im not speaking out of turn, but will the match be able to be seen on the Utube in midweek? Still..

Maybe we should try and do something when they come to our place, I know it’s probably not going to happen, but try and make it so that they finish up losing money out of there trip to us, say charge the home fans pittance to watch the game, that way rugby league wins by giving some of our fans something back for staying loyal and also broadening the audience of our home support

Its their right to say no and I don't agree with their decision! I also think Chalmers hasn't thought it through and its Bad publicity for the Bulls just when we were "whispering it quietly"

One or two will use it as an excuse not to go but I expect plenty of Bulls fans to be there!

LOL-Many dissing Chalmers response based on the, after the decision/victim claiming ,Workington statement.I want to read the statement where Workington tell the BULLS to FOFF with their streaming.Until we see that,which ended up with Chalmer's fierce response,you have not got the full picture.Based on Chalmer's response,do you think Workington's banning of the Bulls streaming was done in an orderly/friendly way?

Are they refusing the delayed broadcast at say 6pm by PS or the Bulls TV coverage that comes out on Tuesday?

I’m with Chalmers 100% and it just goes to highlight one of the reasons I fell out with the sport I once loved more than anything.

Clubs generally show no passion or any interest in growing the game. Look at Wigan and Leeds in the early days of Summer Rugby and SL.

This season the live streams have given me some of the spark back - so much so I may find myself stepping foot back in Odsal (and away grounds) for the first time in over 10 years. This type of penny pinching does the sport no favours as my momentum needs to be maintained and having to check whether clubs are saying yes or no to the streams won’t help.

I could understand to a point if Workington was round the corner but no one thinking about travelling all that way would be put off by a live or delayed stream surely? This stance by Workington will likely cost them more fans than the stream.

You really couldn’t make it up - most sports kill for any kind of exposure. RL clubs seem to love to kill the exposure!!!

TBH, I'm pretty sure that people like you are one of the reasons that the Bulls have agreed to have their games shown for free on social media. Trying to hook back the lapsed fan by showing what they're missing.

But as I've said elsewhere, the game in this country is going backwards due to insular policies and a "what's in it for me" attitude that a lot of teams up and down the leagues have

I agree with Chalmers but that statement is rubbish and the twitter poll is even worse. It makes us look really bad.

Whatever has gone down should have remained behind closed doors.

It’s more unprofessional trash that just undoes a lot of the good work going on at the club.

Just release a statement saying that there won’t be any feed of the game as is the decision of the home team. That’s all it needed.

Time someone actually stood up and said what they THINK,not what fits the "Labelling" Establishment speak.I'd like to see how Workington worded their stream banning statement.Then we can judge whether Chalmers was over exuberant or not.We've only seen the response from the Bulls,I want to see what made Chalmers respond as he did.
