The issue I have with this is that if it's "as you were" then £150 for 7 or 8 home games doesn't seem much, if any, kind of saving on just paying at the gate on match days - especially considering that's only the early bird price.
Whereas there were several comments to the affect that there will be 13 home games next season, all be it just unconfirmed speculation at this stage.

Well Im guessing a 14 team league 1 including us, with maybe a merger of 2 current L1 teams and a withdrawl of 1 current L1 team leading to a standard home and away fixture list, 1st goes up, then another 4, 6 or 8 playoff for a 2nd promotion spot.

I'm still amazed (although it is the rfl so I shouldn't be) that with all the gossip and uncertainty about the structure for 2018 and 2019 that an announcement of intentions has not been made by the RFL as soon as the season ended. Even if 2018 is largely as you were, if there are big structural changes for 2019 planned(licensing?) then you surely need to set that out before the clubs plan for 2018 as 2018 will then be all about positioning your club for whatever 2019 holds.

There's an article in Rugby League World this month about Leon, and he was saying he's setting himself up as a player agent, with a particular focus on player welfare / mental health issues etc. No mention at all about any interest in coaching.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Leon being given some sort of presentation for his services over the years, essentially a better way to send him off into the sunset than him getting booed off in his last game. I think it would be a nice touch if that's the case

As for Rimmer, I can't see it being 'a big announcement'. Can you imagine the outcry if a major announcement from the RFL is made at a Bulls Forum. If that [idid[/i happen, then the Admins on this forum need to be primed for the meltdown on here...

It will either be reacting to an official RFL announcement about the 2019 season in the next day or two (and probably adding nothing of any real substance) - or it will be fluff about what a great club the Bulls are, and about how the RFL is confident they'll be a force again once day blah blah blah.

I think both Duckman and paulwalker71 are on the right lines. It'll be nothing controversial.

I intend to ask Rimmer a question or two if I get chance. No way should he get an easy ride.

Nah, Ralph is coming to explain the new qualification criteria for running the game. The clubs have voted to introduce an IQ test, and having clubbed together the incumbents scored 32 and so they are quietly confident of retaining their roles. It's not like the average man could score 100 or anything like that, so they should be safe...

Guess #1: Leon will announce he is making a comeback, Chalmers names him as Captain, Rimmer rounds it off by giving us a minus 12 point start in League one cos we're the RFL's pet.

Guess #2: Leon is there to sell his book, Chalmers is there to sell the Bulls, Rimmer is there to sell us down the road

Guess #3: Its a comedy sketch. Instead of an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman walk into a bar; its a Bradford Lad, a Kiwi and a BarSteward walk into a club

Guess #4: AC announces Rimmer as the new co-owner of the Bulls, Leon is there to stop the fans attacking him

and because we are the RFL's pet they will let us start this season with a team of players; and they might even tell us which league we will be playing in before the season actually starts
