| Lilley, Oledzki & Hallas are all in Leeds' 19 for their cup game on Friday night. Kind of hope the first two have stinkers so that Leeds don't want to pick them again and are happy to send them back to us.

To be expected as Leeds have an easier game in the cup so would expect them to rest a few stars. Neither Lilley, Murray or Oledzki featured over Easter so hopefully we could see them back with us, though i think Oledzki will more likely DR with Fev sadly.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| Quote: Bull Mania "I think some have misinterpreted my post about being 6 points behind. I didn't mean once we caught up that's it job done. I meant in the next 19 games, we have to win 3 MORE games than Dewsbury & Swinton and we stay in this division. Considering we did that in the first 11 fixtures, it's very much game on. My point is lets not panic just because we've had a tough Easter against 2 good team.'"
Remembering that we still play each of Swinton & Dewsbury twice more.
4 relegation "4-pointers" to look forwards to, at least. I don't know if I can manage the tension....

It is the opposite of panic. When you have evidence that the wheels are falling off, the best policy is to fix it, not carry on and ignore it.

I don't believe the wheels are falling off. If you remember the Keighley pre-season game we were in a similar position, then in came the loan players and we've done ok since then until the Fax game.
We always knew that if the loan players returned to their parent clubs and we got some injuries we'd struggle, and that's where we are now. I think everyone agrees that we need to either get some new players in or the loans back with us, which is precisely what those in charge did early season.
The next few fixtures are all going to be defeats - lets not get too worried about that.
We need to win the "4 pointers" against those around us later in the season and finish above Dewsbury and Swinton then job done. Let's not throw the towel in after 2 predictable defeats.

| Quote: Block5Bull "Leigh Beattie has been initially employed by the club to be the groundskeeper and kit-man.
As at 2015 he was still just working with the juniors as he started trained to be a coach.
For the time being he is covering the role of interim first team coach while issues with visas are negotiated. This is not a situation that anyone wanted.
He is doing his best in a difficult situation.
That quote in the t&a can be read just as much to be a legitimate 'that's not my job to comment on recruitment,' as it can a thinly veiled criticism. It would make no sense for him personally to be critical of anyone on record.
I do not think it is right and fair on him to present him as being a voice critical of the ownership when he has no background in talking or representing the club to the press.'"
This is a fair point made about Beatie.
When I listen to him I think he is doing a terrific job being thrown into the position and is doing it because of his love for the club. I do though believe he is a little out of his comfort zone regarding the press and talking to people. I imagine him being great on the pitch with the lads but not with a mic thrust at him. He is very uncomfortable. I have said many times at work the same thing as sometimes it is not for me to answer knowing some people take it literally. You don't say it to have a go at the top bosses - just to say I think they should give that information.
I didn't read it as a complaint about them - just Leigh not being sure what to say and not wanting to say the wrong thing.

| Quote: Terry Price's knee "I've got to say although I'm hardly a perennial optimist, I am disappointed about some of the panic stations reactions being expressed on these pages, especially as the next few weeks are going to get even tougher with little prospect of another 2 points for quite a while.
However, we only need to finish above Dewsbury and Swinton by the end of the season, remembering that the top 4 will have split off by then, in order to stay up.
Sure, we need some troops to return or get some new ones in.
Sure, we need Toovey's situation sorted.
Sure the announcement of Chisholm brings back memories of the Harris fiasco and was unhelpful.
Sure it would be nice to hear some reassuring words from Chalmers and Lowe.
BUT, now is the time to remain calm, weather the storm, and make sure we have the team ready to win the remaining "4 pointers" towards the end of the season when it really matters.
If we lose those, and go down, then yes I agree we're doomed - but for now let's remain behind the club and be grateful we still have a team to watch, however painful getting hammerings by the top 4 or 5 teams will be.'"
Three months ago we had no club and many were saying we would be happy to simply survive. We were happy to start again in CH.1 and possibly even playing at Park Avenue. I keep reminding myself of that when I get frustrated.
I am also frustrated but it is because we have made such a good start and got within touching distance of the bottom two - who are the only teams we need to get above.
There is a danger of some fans allowing this frustration to get the better of them and allowing themselves to panic.
We all know we are short of a couple of big nasty forwards.
I do not know the technicalities of whether people come available after Easter - but I am hoping they will.
Our outside back are good.
Get Lilley back with Chissy with Pryce or Keys on the bench and that is a very good set of halves.
Our back three are also decent.
Just need some more props.
And that is 100 days from having no players, staff, club and not even a photocopier in the office that had being cleared.
The owners have only being in charge for about 100 days and have had massive problems just getting the club running again so I will give them the benefit of doubt.
I remind myself that finishing 10th is our only goal.
Surviving and then spending money in the off season is the target.
I think everyone does realise the good work that has been done since the end of January but are just allowing frustration to take over at times because we all love our club so much and can see how close we are to securing that 10th spot and don't want to see us go down because of not signing 2-3 good forwards.

Dual reg was a better choice till Leeds started putting a 48 hour clause into our month loans. They could now send them all back to us on month loans and call them back on the day if they want as that 48 hours seems to be just a rough guide will Lilley.
We may still see them all.

He is certainly going for it. Obviously 80-0 thrashings every week are not boring enough for him.

I would agree with all of the above after viewing the after match press conference on Monday.Im not sure how much influence he has on the coaching front also.Certainly anybody that was sat in front of the "coaches box "at Fev was left in no doubt at all who is calling the shots at the moment. The only real surprise was that the walkie talkie didnt actually blow up under the intense scrutiny it suffered during those 80 minutes.

Whats new about the 48hr recall clause? thought that was standard and didnt kick in until after the one month minimum loan period. Eg lilley came back to us triggering a new 1 month minimum loan at the nd of which he was recalled under the 48hr notice clause (although i thought it was 24hrs rather than 48hrs).

| Don't want to be over sceptical but I think the Loan system isn't any good for the club been loaned to, as you are in a unnaturally strong position only to be weakened at the drop of a hat, ala this weekend..
I think they will continue to do this for the rest of the year all the same,
Also have you noticed the Toovey and Phoenix Visa situation is still not resolved, its been overshadowed by the abysmal showing this weekend and shirt gate, but visa gate is still a very big white elephant in the room!

| It's going to be resolved at the weekend.
Haven't you been told enough times?
