Our chairman has been on facebook tonight saying that we're hoping to have both new stands open for your visit, so hopefully there'll be plenty of room for you all.

If you're wanting to use the club car park, I'd get there before 2pm as space is limited. Plenty of parking on the residential streets around the stadium though.

Shame Harry Seacombe isn't playing, I think your chances of victory have increased.

According to the T&A Lauaki and Fleming may figure which may give us 5 bona fide props in the squad. I don't think we've had that many since 2007.

We're going to need to be strong up front if they have Wood and Carvell in the side. I take it Maitua is still waiting for his visa?

I'm not sure if I'm able to make the game until the day, hopefully I'll be able to pay on the gate.

Saw a tweet from the club to someone yesterday saying you can pay on the day, but they advise buying beforehand. I suspect that's just so they get their cut though in reality.

Personally I'm hoping Carvell doesn't play. Wood will be difficult to deal with, but both of them will be a big handful. Add to that the added motivation Carvell will have, when our fans undoubtedly boo him on his first hit up, and I think they could make a huge difference.

Re: 2007 One of those was Chris Feather, a teenage Sam Burgess plus Koppy who played all of 4 games. I think we had 6 under Potter, including Phil Joseph but compared to the McBanana years and the unfortunate FC period, 5 props is bordering on the wasteful.

Carvell hasn't featured at all yet, still working his way back fitness-wise apparently, and I doubt he'll be playing on Sunday. Maitua still in Oz and rumours from over there suggest he has had his visa denied, which wouldn't be especially surprising.

Suspect he could manage a ten minute 'cameo', either side of half-tiime.

Far from sure that Luaki is fully match fit, but he was in the initial squad last Sunday so I guess may turn out at Fev.

Judging by what is said in the T&A, if Lauaki and Fleming may be available, I would expect one of them to take Mellor's spot on the bench. More likely Lauaki as he was in last week's 19 so presumably wasn't far off.
With the suspensions, most likely scenario I would think is for Shaw to play fullback with Mullaney at 7, then Ulugia or Henry to take Williams' wing spot, perhaps with the other taking Shaw's place on the bench. Outside chance that Brook or one of the backup hookers may get that bench spot instead, but I'd think more likely a threequarter.

Fev have just announced that BOTH new stands will indeed be open on Sunday including the larger 70m one at the Railway end, I'd think this will go some way to alleviating any concerns about overcrowding inside the stadium though it will still make sense to come early I'd imagine.

What's the bar situation like at Fev these days?

Still can't make up my mind if I'm going to go. Might need to see how my bank balance is on Saturday before making a call.

Another tough away trip this. Fev have enough quality to cause us problems, especially with our team still gelling together.

Would hope that Lauaki is fit enough, even if it is just for a 20 minute spell.

Also really hope that Shaw doesn't play full back. I'm fed up of people being played out of position. Keep Mullaney at FB and give Brook a run!!!

When the new stands went up last season I understand Etu Uaisele did a bit of labouring to earn his keep.

Looking forward to this. Never been to Fev. Going to do more away's than homes this season.
