I didn't deliberately miss anything. You were the one who seemed so aggrieved about the fact that the squad page hadn't been updated and that alternatively someone would have to look up the news article instead. That was my point, was it really such a big deal to have to look somewhere else in the meantime?
Quote: Ferocious Aardvark " Don't think anyone could argue that it wasn't. Presenting numerous players with shirts which turn out not to be their numbers? That's not embarrassing? Why are you even trying to argue that? I don't get it. '"

Quote: Ferocious Aardvark " If anybody had said that then yes. Nobody did, though.
One person [idid [/isay "if I'm honest, a bit of an insult to both players and fans". The context, and the wording, makes it clear that I wasn't seeking to overplay it. A pretty mild, qualified, and fair rebuke. Not even a bit "dramatic". You deliberately tried to cut out the words that don't suit, so you could pretend I made more of it than I did. Ironically, you can't even quote correctly - I never mentioned "staff". '"
That one was indeed my mistake, and so I apologise my mistyping it (staff instead of fans). God forbid typos should ever occur. Still, I don't seen how it was an insult, or "a bit of an insult" if were being that fussy, just because somebody made a mistake either at the presentation evening or on the e-mail. Obviously none of us can speak for the players, but as a fan, I wasn't insulted by it in the slightest. It's a mistake, they happen, as I just inadvertently showed
