Carvell signing = good.

I paid particular attention to how he played in last night's game. Solid if a little unspectacular, but then he won't be playing in a match of such high intensity every week.
He seemed to get about 35-40 mins on the pitch, broke up by the half time interval.
He's a big bloke, difficult to bring down, and is always looking to offload. Just what we needed really.

Really glad Carvell has signed. We needed another prop desperately. Now we need some more guile to cover halfback, a scary backrower that can break the line and some pace in the backs.

I hear the next two announcements are:

2 - Benji Marshall to sign for us.
3 - Curry to finally be on sale on matchday.

I expect Marshall signing is more likely!

I would hope its news about A legend coming back and then some news on the concerts lined up for next year.

Hopefully some BIG name acts in a number of concerts next summer at the Provident stadium. As I understand it.

If the concerts come off we WILL spend the Full Cap next year. we should know in the next month if the person/groups wanted have signed the contracts.

THe 80s concert made a loss earlier this year because we could not sell tickets for the Sunday when artists pulled out due to other contracts.

Had Jessie J or the Kaiser cheifs not pulled out. The club would have made a 6/7 figure profit. But belive me when I say this.

There will be some top drawer acts in 2014 at Odsal. I know i said it earlier in the year but i've explanied before the reasons (contractually) why they couldnt sign the contracts. After being told of them.
The 80s night was a learning curve for the club for the much bigger concerts.

They have already been granted a license for the May bank holiday. for a 3 night concert that allows music up untill 11pm
