I hope you're right. My friend has been right with some shock signing all over the league in the past, but he's also been wrong a few times. Sammut, Purtell and Lulia were the players that he mentioned could be on the way out. He said nothing was concrete on Lulia, but there was plenty of interest and he wouldn't be surprised to see the club cash in on him.
The exciting player that has apparently been spoken to is a current NRL player, who has been offered better terms by us than by one of our very close neighbours!
I'm not claiming that I'm in the know here. Just passing on what I've heard. |

Given one of sammut/manuokafou has to go to get under quota and doubt over purtells fitness, wouldn't be surprised if Danbury and purtell go. Lulia is one I'd have thought we would want to keep as he's looking like a bit of a bargain find and is young enough that we could build round him. Be very disappointed if we cash in but I'm told we aren't going to. |

Agreed, despite the situation we are in i would like to think we dont have to stoop to low standards and sign a player like Moore. Plus, he sounds like a bit of a trouble maker.
It would be interesting to see a list of OOC players at other clubs in super league and pick out the ones that may be of interest.
I can see us getting alot of loan players from the big clubs in super league this season. |
