| According to BBC website:
Guilfoyle, who claimed the club had just 10 working days to save themselves from 'extinction' upon going in to administration, is now looking for someone who would be willing to take on the job of coaching the Super League side on an unpaid basis.
"I'm hoping to find someone to come in for the short-term who would be willing to work for nothing," he continued.
I wonder if Noble is willing to work for nowt?!

| So, sack all the key staff now, while there is no actual bid on the table.
Then, white knight miraculously appears, on his white charger and with his bayonet not really looking like it has blood on it.
And makes his bid, the administrator having done the dirty job of getting shot of the employment and TUPE liabilities.
And steps in with his own team, secure in the knowledge that there are no impediments to him appointing them. Such a shame the administrator found it necessary to take such precipitate action so soon before the bid was finalised, but hey ho, life's a bitch, eh?
Sure bloody well is for the poor sods whose long service and dedication to the club has just been discarded.
Wonder if the administrator suggested to them that they could stay on without pay for another week, to see if a buyer appeared before the deadline?
WHY SACK THEM ALL OFF FOR THE SAKE OF A WEEK?????
Do you really need to ask?

| I sincerely hope a white night comes in soon. Keeping the club alive is important, no matter what level you have to start at. Something to build on is the most important thing.
Unfortunately that will undoubtedly mean some unfair decisions will be made along the way, like the coaching staff getting the push. Although the could probably go to tribunal for compensation as this sounds like a terminated contract rather than redundancy, there will be no money left by then and they will be just another unpaid creditor. Any new business is unlikely to buy that debt as there are plenty of new staff to take on for no fee.

982.jpg [quote:1pqtnbtj]Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.[/quote:1pqtnbtj]

Regardless, I feel very sad for all those who have lost their jobs and all Bulls fans. This is not a good day for Rugby league.

| Just want to say thanks to Mick Potter - after a number of seasons where the team seemed to have little idea in how to play or pride in the shirt, he has forged a team which does both in spades - not the most talented team who have worn the Bradford shirt but certainly as strong a team spirit as any team I've seen. No stars, just a load of guys getting on with the job as well as they can. Made it worse MacNamara commenting on situation on Sky Sports - his lack of the coaching skills shown by Potter accelarated our demise!

| With insolvency practioners sentiment never comes into the equation but equally you would think think game at the weekend is potentially a significant source of income?
Feel for Potter he has been very professional throughout and he has been at the sharp in this season with the team not in the comfort of the TV commentators box

Expressed exactly the same sentiment and suspicion on the Guilfoyle thread - I stated I believed we had an Independent assesment of our finances a few weeks ago with Guilfoyle's organisation - sure doesn't look that independent today!!! The warnings from the Plymouth Argyle fans have all come true!!

What's that I see coming over the hill? Looks like it's Sir Galahad with other white knights close behind.
OR...all of Adeybull's last post!

| Adey has the nail on the head.
Why sack them all off for the sake of a week, maybe less?!
Ulterior motives at work for my money.

I would say there was.
We have been told it is Friday or bust.
Were the staff offered the option of working without pay for another five days, with no promises? That would not have worsened the financial position, and would have kept the club team in place at least until the final deadline, at no extra cost. Then they could still have been made redundant had no buyer manifested himself.
So, I say again: why make the staff redundant now? Today? For the sake of four days?
Why?

| Even with this being on the cards for a while still makes me furious - some very loyal staff are paying the price for other people's mistakes. Is there anyway the fans could organise a donation assuming there is a game at the weekend to pass a bucket round?

| Mick Potter was asked to stay on, working for nothing, by the administrator.
