Maybe able to rest Sammut next week. Stick Addy at 6.

| Addy was awful at 6 against Hull and was excellent in the second row inside Lulia against Leeds.

Yeah, but it is only Doncaster, with all due respect
I'd be looking to rest anyone who is carrying a knock

| The way Sammut was hobbling I think it's a given that he'll sit out the cup game, looked like some sort of strain.. possibly hamstring. Maybe we should just pair BJ up with one of the youngsters rather playing Addy in a role he isn't suited to?
Potter probably won't be able to rotate the squad as much as he'd like with the extra injuries and possible suspensions that might happen after Tuesday.

| Jeffries and Kearney in the halves. We have plenty capable at Fullback.

Do we?
Kear injured, Sykes on loan - the only leaves Platt that I can think of. And setting aside whether he is 'capable', apparently he was hobbling around at Widnes too!

| Cracking performance. I was worried in the first few minutes as they looked totally knackered, but they stuck to the job and the result to be fair never looked in doubt. Great away support - must have been close to 2000 Bulls fans there? Brilliant, and great to show support for Widnes - what a top club they have been with their support for us.
Were the Widnes fans booing Jon Clarke as he came back on in the 2nd half? What's all that about?
Only downside for me is what looked like two more injuries - Sammut and Platt hobbling off at the end - lets hope it's nothing long term.
Well played Bulls - 3 points clear of ninth place now - wow - getting vertigo!

Maybe he was, he doesnt have to be excellent there. He just has to cover, which he can do. Its clear he's a backrow forward, but he's got some handling skills and Im sure he could do a job there for us in the CC on Sunday.
As Bully said, he could try a youngster there, maybe that Marcus Elliot or AN Other, I dunno.
Cant move Kearney to 6, because Platt might be injured aswell and that would leave us no or little cover for wing and FB.

| Echo a lot of what's already been said. Stuck to the task today and defended well, could have had a couple more had Kearney been wearing the correct footwear!
Stand outs for me were Manoukafoa, Purtell, Langley and good to see Koppy back.
What a great Easter its turned out to be on the field. COYB.

| Fair enough if we're down to the bare bones and then some, Addy will have to play 6 but I really liked him on the fringe where he has a pass, a little kick through - just something a little different where tbh we've not fed Lulia like I think we should have.

Hasn't Bateman played 6 before or am I imagining that. Could be an option. Or l'estrange if he isn't banned.

Played a lot of rugby at 6 for Dudley Hill and Siddal.

| You guys brought a fair few but nowhere near 2,000. I would say closer to 1,000, tops. Regarding Jon Clarke the majority did boo him as he’s been absolute garbage all year. Meant to be our ‘experienced player’, he’s been a major disappointment. I was really impressed by Samutt today along with Jamie Langley who tackled his heart out for you guys.
Good luck for the rest of the year!

| Was def more than 1000 Bulls fans there today. Did someone say that the west stand holds 3000? looked about 3/4 full from where i was sat.
Whatever the number it was a good atmosphere and good to see the Red Amber and Black showing their appreciation to Widnes and the chairman for the support shown recently.
