| I was talking to a lady at the shay stadium tonight, in a bulls jacket, who was on the phone to her husband (works at Bradford) and he said it doesn't look like good news for the bulls. He mentioned a Figure (which i can not disclose for certain reasons) and i got round to my mates in the stands (fellow fax fans) and we raised 740 between us which has been pledged. Just hope that the figure i heard isnt true and is only an estimate

You are a total star. Thank you again.
And I hope it's not true either. I am confident that we must have in the region of £420/£430K. But is it going to be enough. Nervous times.

| Ryan sounded upbeat when I spoke to him before the game. He said the bucket collection had really surprised them, as in a lot had been taken.
I helped a bit collecting AFTER the match, and people were still chucking in, and we are talking notes here not just coins.
Lap of the Gods now.

It was £387k when you pledged! At worst tonight's average return will be about £12 and we budgeted for 16,000 that's an extra 4,800 in at £57k! That means around £445k so with the bar, other donations tonight and the virtual tickets we should be close!

I was gobsmaked at what people were putting in my bucket, we might have a chance if everyone has been so generous, but its all about the bigger picture I guess.

| How final is this figure of £500k? Surely with the amount owed being spread over different creditors there is a bit of flexibility?
The guess was that reaching it would buy us 6-8 weeks to find the other £500k.
Surely if we reach £450k, that can buy us 5-6 weeks to find the other?

From What I've heard, the Actual amount needed was £496.5K.
When we confirmed our pledge, i was told that was at £387.5k.
Thus meaning that the Bulls needed to make at least £109.0k.
£109,000 / 20,821 = £5.25 per person
20,821 fans, say 3500 use their season ticket (say short on cash, Leeds fans with sour grapes or just wanting to watch the game for nothing (no disrespect intended to Leeds Fans)). - Average Ticket Price paid approx £12 meaning
17,321 x £12 = £207,864
Lighting costs, Stadium costs, Car Parking costs, Staff Costs (turnstiles & Gambles, ect). (Atleast Half of the Money coming through the gates)
That would help scrape the Barrel and just make enough with the bucket collections.
Ive been part of a company running a rugby Club in the past and it is a very hard business, an average game in front of 5000 people at an average ticket price of £12.50 used to bring in just over £16,000 profit
Just hope that the bulls have done the fans efforts Justice.

£109,000 / 20,821
The club had already announced everything over 16,000 went straight into the fund to save the club as the budget etc was based on 16,000. Based on that theory and taking into account kids, students, the £5 tickets etc plus tax I think my calculations stand.

| If we are not, after all the efforts and after wonderful wonderful gestures like yours, I really don't know what else we supporters and our friends could have done.

You, as fans, have done everything physically possible to help your club survive. You've gone above and beyond really what fans should have to do to support their club. Whatever the outcome, you can all be justifiably proud of the support and loyalty you have shown to the club and the name of Bradford Bulls.

| Surely if we were anywhere near to the target there would have been a more frenzied last minute appeal for cash? If we only needed another £20,000 - £30,000 they'd have kept the pledge open another day, begged fans to pledge or increase their pledges this morning. We'd have had ex players like Robbie Paul on the pitch before the game and at half time making emotional appeals. Yes there were people with buckets, but the club didnt seem to be be drawing the fans attention to them, asking for that extra fiver that might make the difference.
We've either made the target comfortably or are well short. Or they've got a buyer lined up.
