| When we were a force in the super league we built success on stout defence. The whole of our threequarter line seem unable to hang on to an oppsition player and it's like christmas every week at odsal. I'm sick of all the "we can see improvement coming" quotes in all the local press by everyone from the coach down. Just shut up,do your job and knuckle down to some honest hard work before slapping yourselves on your boneless backs. Marc Herbert? he's no more a scrum half than my mum.

| Marc Herbert shouldn't be a scapegoat but Potter had a knack of bringing in young players at Saints who turned up and PLAYED. Where are all our young players? We keep turning up hoping for a Foster or a Lomax to grab a chance every week but so far they're all falling short. Has Potter lost his mojo or is the spectre of Steve "failure" McNamara clouding our season? We are a spent force in Super League end of.

| I don't believe we're a spent force. OK we're not very good, but we'd be top 8 if they would put in the same effort as v. Leeds for every game.

| True but that's the issue, they don't and that's why we're a shadow of the team we had 4 years ago. Every team in super league has a bulls connection either players or coaching staff. Why do they all do better when they've left? eg Solomona Bridge and Atkins from today

But they don't do they? While that continues to be the case (as has been for nigh on 3 years) we'll stay well outside the 8.

No disrespect
In all fairness the Leeds side that you played just over a week ago was still shaky from a pasting from Shuddersfield

| You were mullered by a better team and a far bigger club.
Wire are the best side in the competition with the best stadium and best support.
And,having watched your truelt inept 'performance' today, if i was a Bradford fan,i'd be turning cartwheels that the RFL have long since done away with relegation

| Sooooooo... what to make about today?
Much of what I'd say has already been said. Disorganised and clueless in attack, spineless and confused in defence. Schoolboy errors like kicking out on the full, wrong people kicking on the last tackle, basic handling errors.
The wider question is where to go from here? By which i mean next week and over the next month. Well, we've got Halifax next week, then Hull KR and Salford - so we could hardly have a better run of fixtures to try and fix things up a bit.
I think we've got to look at giving Briggs and maybe Southernwood a run in the cup game. Or maybe try Briggs at scrum half and give Herbert a run at 6. There's no way that Herbert looks a natural scrum half to me, so its time to shake things up.Even L'Estrange at scrum half is worth considering.
The trouble with L'Estrange at Scrum Half is that Diskin, to my mind, is poor. I know he gets the odd penalty by scooting into the back of a retreating defender - but does he need to do that tactic EVERY single play? The refs are wise to it, and he's doing nothing else with ball in hand. He needs to get his finger out IMO
I like Royston, he's a trier. But he looks small and too weak in defence to be our Number 1, plus he was way out of position several times today. But who else? Halley has to be an option, at least until we get Kearney back.
Donaldson is obviously going to come into it, with Elima injured. And, to be fair, Sibbit was as good as anyone on our team today (and I didn't expect to ever be saying that!).
The trouble is that, with injuries to Kearney, Langley, Scruton and now Elima, we are really, really short on quality and experience.

Ignore this Muppett. He isn't a Wire fan. He just trolls all the opposition Boards (and gets banned from most of them).

Allow me to apologise for this moron. Having been on the end of many a pasting by the Bulls I sympathise with your current plight. Speaking purely factually, Wire do not have the best support and we are not a 'far bigger club' than Bulls. It is an honour to be up there now with the big boys, including Bradford. I welcome new supporters as that's the only way to expand, but it does mean acquiring imbecliles like WireWonder along the way.

We need a big, comprehensive win against Halifax to try and get a bit of confidence back. But I doubt, at the moment, we are capable of that.
It is depressing.

Now you sir are a true fan of RL and I you've earned my respect
On another note.... I expected this today, Warrington were not going to lose after that Hull game. Okay fair enough I wasn't there so I cannot comment on player performances or the pride they had.
