So this coward can call all kr fans pigs including my family,sorry but if you don't agree he could do with a slap your just as spineless as him.

wasn`t just about the blinds though, from the staff`s awful experience last season with flying glasses and being abused i think it should be only open to bulls fans from now on.

There was even an issue at the Top House before the game on sunday, some Kr fan thought it was clever to throw their beer at the police van window, which is just pathetic. I don`t have issue with any away fans as long as they come and watch there team and behave themselves !

Chill i don`t think its directed at you personally, but you do have a problem at KR and its needs sorted out, sooner rather than later. Or maybe name and shame these certain trouble makers so these people get banned indefintely.

I don't think all KR fans can be branded as trouble makers. However they do have a more pronounced element of trouble causing fans. That's not to say other clubs don't have problem fans, it's just that IMO KR seem the most visable and really it's down to the club to deal with these people

You need to start reading this in context and stop reacting to an inflammatory remark in the OP.

The fact is we do have a problem drunken element that I personally think the club could do more about.

As a paying customer (I often buy away tickets through the online ticket purchase) of Hull Kingston Rovers, if another group of fans are going to limit my match day experience then I expect that the club should be doing something about this.

We do seem to to take a fair few people who use the match as an excuse to drink themselves into a stupor and become an annoying gobsh11te in the process, the Bradford game seems to attract more than some of the others. Its a problem that needs to be looked at as it does give the rest a potential bad name. The standing arrangements at Odsal compound the problem as our pee heads mix with yours and it wouldn't take much for it to get out of hand. To say the sole purpose of standing in there is to antagonise or 'prove how hard they are is a bit silly, I reckon the vast majority do it so they get a better view. I personally stood behind the posts and it is miles away.

I still take offence at the idea that the trouble causers are not the minority tho'. Not sure how many made the trip but there seemed around the 1500-2000 mark, therefore you're suggesting there were around 1000 trouble causers there. Surely there would have been a riot, 100's of arrests and possibly the game abandoned or maybe just some blinds accidently pulled down..

I certainly don't believe that the trouble causers are not the minority (apologies on the double negative, but you know what I mean). I think what the OP meant by that is that it's a larger minority than other clubs (since it certainly isn't a majority), which sadly does seem to be the case. What's also worrying is that the only club I can think of that also seem to have a larger minority is the other Hull side. When I've been to either Hull ground, it has always seemed to me that the two clubs are not that bothered about sorting out the idiots and prefer to just ignore them and hope nothing happens (The KC's chav corner being the major example of it). I'd love for the clubs to do more to weed out these scum and stop them tarnishing the club's decent fans, who are some of the more passionate in the league. Sadly, after seeing it for quite a long time now and very little being done about it, I really don't see it happening.

The OP is rather vitriolic and aggressive in it's tone so I apologise for that but not what is behind it. I'm also sorry about the use of the word "pigs" and I would like to add that this was not meant to cause offense to the majority of Hull KR fans. It reads badly I accept that but is not aimed at all Hull KR fans. Although I must admit a few of the people ranting about it were being a bit precious and missed the point completely.

Of course not all Hull KR fans behave like that and it is a minority. Like I said people can stand where they like at Odsal and I am proud of that fact but if you are going to stand in that end you have to be prepared to hear comments from the home fans that you may not neccessarily agree with.

There is absolutely no excuse what so ever to subject bar staff to abuse verbal or otherwise, to subject any other fans to abuse. The ground regulations are quite clear. It's actually a health and safety issue outside of the club's control and similar measures are in force elsewhere.

Anyway I've said my piece I don't want to tar everyone with the same brush nor do I want people to think I have an issue with fans of any club.

Fair play to you for clarifying your point. I fully agree with your next three paragraphs.

I've always stood on the terraces down the popular side since I first went to Odsal to watch some of WCC matches (a failed attempt to get my Southerner other half into TGG, she loved Bullman's Parade, not too keen on the RL ) and I've never had any bother or had anyone say anything out of order to me. It's a good view from there, simple as that. You won't find trouble unless you really go looking for it.

Thanks for coming back and saying that, I must admit I did find your OP very offensive. We do have idiots who follow our club and I'm sure the majority of us would do what it takes to get rid of them, because believe me, on occasion they have spoilt my experience and made my family's game day an uncomfortable one. Not going to totally blame alcohol, but sadly it does seem to be the ones who can't handle a couple of shandies and become 'big men' (or aggressive women!) when they've had a drink. I'm not sure what the answer is.
