Hmm. Raw nerve touched there? If you think what Debaser said was "...verging on the libellous (sic)" then you need to go read up on some law. And get off that high horse while you are about it.
I could post my usual piece now; but I've said it enough times. The history books will record what really happened.

Good to see sense and balance are still well represented in our Wires visitors. Its a shame that it's the clubs with the richest backers that seem most likely to get the results going forward, but that's life. The Wires fans have certainly waited long enough to see the potential translated into performance, so its hard to begrudge them, or Hudds for that matter, their time in the sun.

Libellous? How so? I said your team have low wages if you read properly. Thats not libellous is it? Oh unless you are suggesting they don't have low wages? Proof then please...

I'm jealous of the fact that they have Simon Moran behind them, and we do not.

Of course, I have great admiration for your acheivements in recent years, however, its fair to say that Wire, as a club, seems to have finally pulled its socks up and are beginning to resemble an half decent outfit, on AND off the pitch.
Bradford, unfortunately for you, seem to be heading in the opposite direction...

I would agree with that. It also seems with Smith on board you may finally have some success.

I think that was perhaps the case up until recently. I reckon we may have halted the rot and got our problems under control off the field. Cut backs have had to be made to help balance the books and until we develop Odsal those measures will remain.
P.S. is that your missus in your avatar?

Just as an aside, and as an interested observer, will any developent ever take place??
As a neutral, Odsal as a venue as always held an air of mystique, with its unusual size and general design. I think most agree it has enormous potential, but for most Rugby fans it is a ground which not many look forward to visiting, simply because of its unfriendly atmosphere.
P.S. I mean unfriendly in the sense of the surroundings, not your supporters...

Our Chairman reckons it's the closest we've ever been to it happening, but we've had plenty of schemes that have failed. This one does seem to have a bit more of a chance but I become less confident as the months tick by without much progress obvious from the outside.

Warrington can. You're forgetting they have a different salary cap to the rest of the Super League teams

| Back to the point about 2 of your jumpers being tackled in mid air.
The first one (Hicks) was a definate penalty.
The seond one.... well (I've only seen it the once on tv and so could be completely wrong) I actually though that Sheriffe (?) caught the ball, landed and King wrapped him up. What (I think) King does is actually run into him and make contact when he's coming down but not wrap him up until he has landed.
Now I'm not clear on the ruling. If Kings' contact is classified as the start of a tackle then you should have had a penalty.
Either way I think although we had loads of pressure on you in the first half, I did begin to wonder whether we would score. We seemed a bit bereft of ideas and you defended extremely well.
I also thought there was too much lying on allowed by both teams in the first half which meant it seemed quite disjointed.
I guess your effort in the first half told in the last 20mins.
The score flattered us but we were worthy winners.
