Quote: Wigan Bull "Also, does this ticket get you into the seated area above the terracing?'"

I am pretty certain that you can get into the seats above the away terrace at no extra charge.

Also, for anyone paying on the day as a concession or junior, you can't pay by cash at the turnstile you have to get a ticket from Salford's ticket office first.

Yes, you can DEFINITELY sit in the seats behind the sticks at no additional cost - I'll see you in there!

Quote: chpntpsr "Remember seeing a Salford fan in tears during the 96-16 match, was a grown man, thought it was quite funny at the time (was 16)'"

As a Salford fan that game was one of those moments that, even as it was happening, you got the feeling that you were earning your stripes as a fan - in years to come it will be like a badge of honour to say you were there to endure it.

The wierdest thing is I think we actually scored to frist and last tries?! Actually, no - the wierdest thing is that it wasn't our worst performance of the season (78-0 v Cas at home was FAR worse, unfortunately?!)

The one thing that really brightened my day up, childish as it may have been, was going to the Odsal Top after the game. It was a nice day and the pub was rammed so we stood outside, depreesed, in almost silence. A fat kid, about 14yrs old, came over and started dancing about singing about how s**t we were (as is we didn't realise already?!) and even Bradford fans were telling him to shut up. Then came the moment that made me laugh ....

One of the lads I was with, totally out of the blue, said to the fat kid "we might be s**t but you can't even get inside that wheelie bin" pointing at a bin outside th epub door. The fat kid disagreed and jumped inside the bin to prove it ..... at which point the Salford fan quickly shut the lid and sat on it. It was almost certainly the first time all day I'd laughed!

The fat kid's Dad came over at one point to ask what was going on - we explained (not realising it was the kid's Dad) but he just said "Stupid t**t, serves him right!" before kicking the bin and going back into the pub?!?

I appreciate it isn't the greatest story ever but it made me laugh on a horrible day ..... until we went for a takeaway at China Ocean round the corner and ended up with food poisoning?! icon_confused.gif
