I have respect for these teams, I never called them crap. What I was pointing out (sorry for not being clear enough) is that Leeds don't have a game against the teams I would consider "big teams" (not based on last years league position btw, I'm sure you can work out what I mean) Saints, Wigan, Wire, Hull, Us.
I just think its a bit odd that none of these fixtures arise until april for Leeds, however it could make it worse for them later on in the season I suppose.
Ang good point, well made Wilko, but Storm showed the year bedore last that they couldn't care less about the WCC, whereas Manly did, I assure you Leeds will put more effort in than Storm (good thing btw)

| Oh Dear.
First game of the season and some people are already turning an unattractive shade of puce!
We shall of course enjoy our time in the sun, (and in the Courthouse), and when the inevitable decline sets in, we will probably understand how you sad people feel.
Until then.......

Stuck in the 80's are we mate - not surprised really, I’ve seen what passes for fashion in Bradford.
If you ever want to visit the 21st century hop on an omnibus to Leeds and get off when the blokes are no longer look like extras from Miami Vice and the women aren’t wearing shoulder pads and resemble Bette Midler in Beaches.
Might be a bit of a culture shock for you but if you leave it until late you can pretend you’re going to a retro night at Flares.

| I very much liked the look of Delaney - playing for Leeds and not us.
I'll give him five minutes in a big game with a petulant temper like that.

| Fascinating reaction from the (thankfully atypical) visitors to this thread from Leeds? Taking exception to and retorting with gloating because they see people being bitter over and jealous of them?
Except...they flatter themselves. All I really see on this thread are observations about the nature and quality of the refereeing?
Strange people, then, getting so wound up over something they think they see but that actually isn't there. There is a name for that. Are they still so insecure on the heights that even now they still feel the need to be so defensive? And as for LS16 Rhino...its words condemn it for what it is.

His observation was about the relative "toughness" of the games. I'm pretty sure most Leeds fans would say that Bradford is a pretty tough game, regardless of league positons. Or do you assume that playing the Bulls is an easy 2 points for Leeds?

| Apologies if I've missed this, but I don't think I've seen the Leeds fans on here mention one particular decision.
We'll agree to disagree on whether Leeds got the rub of Thaler's decisions as that particular argument is clearly going nowhere.
However I would be interested to know what those people think of the decision by video referee Richard Silverwood to award the second try to Lauiti'iti?

Not getting wound up at all my presumptuous little friend.
Check out the time and content of the OP. What I see is someone trying to gloat (the words EPIC FAIL spring to mind) about the current Championship holders lack of dominance.
There were no “predicted 125-0 to Leeds” from our camp (quite the opposite actually) and I’d also like to see some evidence of Leeds fans stating that our team is “immense”.
Last season (bar the odd dig) I was hopeful that Bradford could reverse their fortunes and the classic, down to the wire, nail-biting derbies could be revitalised.
But with this kind of attitude you can relish in the mire you call a home ground and long may your form from the previous season last.

Standard Operating Procedure from your type - argument refuted so you try and move the argument to one of your choosing. Failed, mate. There was no justification for the bilge (I've nicked Gareth's word - [ihe[/i talks sense) you posted a bit earlier which had nothing whatsoever to do with the subject of the thread. And you have not addressed the issue at hand, which is the quality of the refereeing NOT Leeds.
Incidentally, those who know me will be aware I am far from "little" - in any direction.

[i“Well as predicted at HT its 125-0 to leeds. Oh wait, maybe they did actually underestimate and aren't as immense as they think
6-6 at half time.”[/i
I have re-read this several times now but can manage to see the words ‘quality’ or ‘refereeing’.
Please could you point them out form me?
