That is miles nicer, I'm sorry but what were they thinking with this design?

The silver blade is a mistake. The design is busy enough as it is with the side and sleeve silver boomerangs. Must admit, initial reaction is I don't like this shirt very much, but I'm no fan of red anyway so that may have a bearing on it. Will reserve judgment until I see it on the park...or "player version 2" on the park anyway... The black and midnight blue ones have been my favourites. Looks like I'll have to go for the home shirt - would much prefer the player shirt design variant of that.

The blue one last year was the best one but I really like both this years. I think I prefer the home shirt but can't really decide until you see them both in the flesh.

From looking round other forums/boards etc it looks like opposition fans hate them both so I like them even more.

Had a windfall since this then have we?

Look its not hideous but it lacks any sort of class. Its the sort of thing that, when an A level design student shows you it, you pat them on the back and say "good job".

Problem with that is we are not paying Kooga to produce outlandish and fairly childlike conceptual designs are we. That silver nonsense at the top is not worthy of whatever the designers at Kooga are payed.

There seems to be a fundemental misunderstanding about the key difference between thinking outside the box in designing a kit, and just producing tacky crap.

Look - for all I know this sort of shirt may be the height of fashion on the German Streets of Danzig. But here in the West we've moved on.

I guess it's partially a by product of changing the design every year, though I think "classy playing top" is a bit of an oxymoron anyway, to be honest. When they incorporate so many sponsors adverts it must be a nightmare trying to make the finished product "classy". Again, to be fair to whichever computer program came up this one, even when we kept the same design for years (similar to the 'centenary' one done recently) it wasn't really "classy" as such, even though we probably regard it as being a classic. Though all rather subjective, of course.

Will I buy it though? Of course I will!! It's my team's shirt and I'd buy it if it were sky blue pink with yellow dots.

Wonder if we'll ever get the green, yellow, purple retro one. Or the thick Rab hoops. Don't recall much popular demand for a silver banana.

I like it but im just in the same boat as most people, the sad silver stripe ruins it.
