| I want to be positive about my club, I really do...
...but after that, again? difficult to say the least.
I suggested dropping Deacon and Langley earlier in the week, I wish Macca had listened. Deacon was a shadow of himself again, and was played off the park by Myler IMO.
Why have we not kept with the combo we stumbled on briefly in Jefferies/sykes with Menzies in the that made us us far more dynamic??? To keep playing the same 17 making the same errors with the same excuses and the same promises, no wonder the fans are fecked off.
The good games Vs leeds, Saints, Wakey look more and more like the exception rather than the rule. I think we can forget the 8 now, just cant see where our wins are going to come from.
What Im also worried about is that we now have two weeks for this and the Celtic result to fester, with endless talk in the press about where it went wrong and how we're in terminal decline. The chances of a decent gate Vs Wakefield next up will be slim.
I dont think he'll walk, I don't think he'll be sacked - but right at this moment I would not be surprised or upset to see either headline in the morning...but it wont happen.

The alarming thing is the inability to learn from our mistakes. Its not worked so try something else, don't keep persevering with the same losing formula.

Yep, and there roughly the same mistakes as last year too. weak sliding defence, inability to take chances or create sustained pressure, inability to chase a game in a professional and calm manner once we've done the usual trick of conceding soft points in bunches and no creative threat from the halfs.
To their credit Salford were decent tonight and seem to have a nice blend of youth and experience, and we were not catastropically bad like against wire, but Im past caring about such things, at the moment results and points is all that matters and we're not getting either.

20201.jpg "I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league." - Graham Lowe (1995):20201.jpg |

Don't be daft, that's nothing, he also holds the record for the biggest reversal in a Challenge Cup game and a Play-Off/SL match. He's apparently bomb proof and if Angela Powers is to be believed his new line is that we have a whole half a season to put things right, given 'we're not where we want to be, but where we deserve to be', which begs the question has he achieved all that his efforts deserve and if so shouldn't he accept he doesn't have the ability to successfully build a SL team and step aside? Not that he will of course.

| Do you know what sums up how bad we played today?
That Michael Platt was one of Bradford's best players today.
Deacon should have been dropped, again his kicking was predictable, he was too slow and missed several important tackles.

I got the impression from the radio that he was poor today?

Wooooaaahhhh fella.... the worst 2 clubs in SL are Celtic and Catalans as it stands.
There ain't no disgrace losing to Salford at the moment... we're playing well and winning. 6 wins in 9 games is a pretty good record... and not many will win at the KC, Headingley and Galpharm all in the same season.

Because he is constantly used as a scapegoat. Sheriffe was pi$$ poor, as was Deacon. Menzies made a few Handling errors and most of the forwards were quiet.
The only players who played well and/or looked like they were putting effort in were:
Platt
Newton
Lynch
Sykes
Halley
