| Nobby is the greatest living Bradfordian. I'd vote for him if he ran for prime minister!
He did better than Smith did with GB (better in terms that they played with more passion and got more respect from the big two).
Nobby and Stu back? I'd take up that season ticket offer on the back of that.

Sorry, but anybody wanting Stuart Fielden back should be admitted straight into the nearest mental institution. He was dire just before he left us, and is even more dire now. Infact, I'd go as far as saying he shouldn't even be playing in Super League at the moment.

Lynfield Mount here I come!
Big Stu just needs the right props and players around him. The Wigan team, perhaps understandably, have no respect for him and he's the dummy runner more often than not. Bradford showing faith in him would rejuvenate him. But this ain't a Stu thread so pardon my diversion.

| Whilst Stu is a shadow of his former self he is still an able SL Prop. He's not the dominant enforcer he used to be, but he still works hard. For an average SL prop wage, I'd have him at Bradford as 3rd/4th choice Prop.

Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

Steady on, you'll have Mystic Eddie going apoplectic coming out with stuff like that.
He'll have that wall back up before you can utter "ya wee timmering beastie!" . . . . .
See. There's a positive side to everything

| Right before I start, I am not confirming the validity of this, but the story I was told last night (from someone who knows a player down at Wigan) goes like this:
- Tuesday training cancelled at Wigan
- Noble went to London for a meeting with the Cheif Exec. (his name escapes me)
- Wigan offered Noble back to Bradford.
- Bradford refused
- Training as normal at Wigan yesterday.
- The feeling of the players at Wigan is that he will get the chop sooner rather than later.

But we'd still have to pay him if we wanted him to do a job for us obviously.
Despite the views of some on here I'd welcome him back. He's an experienced coach with knowledge of the club and has proved he can turn around an underperforming side as he did at Wigan in 2006. What I don't know are the true circumstances of his departure from Odsal so I can't say whether his return would cause any ructions.
