| I didnt think our defense particularly deteriorated in those last 10 mins, just that Cas took their chances whereas earlier in the game they'd made plenty of breaks without making them count.
Not the worst defeat of the season by any means, but at our current standard we need to make sure we pick up the points in those games that we have a chance of winning.

Is it?
Sure we all want to win every game, but a narrow loss in a fine game away at Cas would, all other things being equal, not be that disastrous. We collapsed in the last 10 minutes or so, and what cost us dearly was losing the ball straight after the scrum, and the kick out on the full, but you can't say Cas weren't worth their win, or that we didn't play a full part. Your sig says I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying. '"
Can you accept failure, as we were sure trying, trying our bloody socks off!

But to be 16 points in front with 10 minutes left and end up loosing isn't good enough.

I'd agree, which is why seeing as we're making something of a habit of this, and conceding last-minute tries, I've sort of made the point in my sig

| For what it's worth and the 80 minutes I have just witnessed, I don't think your team is as bad as some of you lot make out. It's sometimes the same on our board, that some of the biggest moaners can be the ones that sit at home and listen to the game on the radio...
Platt looked good going forward, Nero and Tadulala took some holding and I thought your back row played well. I don't see Bradford every week, so it's not my place to comment on players current form, but Bradford won't be far away come the end of the season on that performance.
The nature of most RL supporters is to focus on the league table and the current or last 80 minutes. SL is a lot more competitive than recent years and Bulls, Wigan and Wire all sit outside the top 8. There are no easy beats this year, but some supporters think they should be beating certain teams, because they have done so in previous years ! It doesn't work like that this year.
A seasons success or failure shouldn't be judged in March, you lot will be thereabouts, but whether you can actually win anything with McNamara - the jurys out.
A good following for your team today and Odsal will always be a tough place for teams to go and get 2 pts. Stick with 'em and best of luck.

Some truth there it would seem.

Can't argue with that.

| Unhappy with the result from what I was listening to on BCB bradford should have won I would give McNaramara the benfit of the doubt and give him the three games against Catalans, Leeds and Wakefield.

I struggle how even the fiercest critics of McNamara could blame him for today's result. The team defended pretty strongly IMO for the majority of the game. Our players coped well with some strong Cas pressure and de-fused some towering kicks. Unless of course Macca sent a message onto the field with 10 minutes saying 'well done lads job done'.

Pretty fair summation that. Well said.
Trouble is, it doesn't accord with the script of the Negative Tendency on here. Especially those who did not see what actually happened in that last few mins, how we screwed up at a couple of crucial moments and how your lot ran in three excellent tries after some truly outstanding effort.
From what I saw today, its no fluke you guys are where you are in the table.

The tackle was perfectly legal, Shenton never touched his head. Deacon just hit a brick wall

Are you sure? I would like to see it again. It looked dodgy to me.
But what do I know.

Sounds like a job for the captain. Surprised no-ones thought of it.
