Really? Godinet and Sammut are quality players for what our goal is and would improve our team. Rangi is a non-starter, but Lee Smith at FB and Mullaney at 7 would be an improvement IMHO.

Don't believe we will see Jake Mullaney next season, so a number 7 has to be high on the wish list.

The puzzle for me is if these are decent players why are they currently without a club and very close to not earning a wage if contracts end at the end of November. I suspect some have already signed and waiting for announcement. My 50p bet would still be on Godinet. I just don't think Sammut is a play maker for number 7. too much of a loose cannon. I think Jimmy will be looking for a solid, reliable organiser and that probably rules out Sammut - but I may be wrong unless we lose our hooker and then we could sign both?

thing is club hasn't actually said anything. T&A reporter picked up rumours about Godinet and Sammut off social media and used them to pad articles. Then in later articles he put in bits about them not been on radar, but not as quotes from anyone from club but as 'we undertand they are not on the radar' comments. He's basically guessing exactly same as us.

ne thought i had other day was that maybe we're waiting until Ulugia's move to Batley is finalised before we can announce anything. Batley announced his signing 'subject to him getting a visa'. Bradford haven't made any announcement about him leaving yet. Could be we're waiting to announce his departure once its 100% complete and we also need his non fed trained quota spot to finalise a player coming in.
