Thought i heard at the time it was an option for 2016, im most likely wrong though

Dane will not be playing for us in 2016. We have taken the decision not to extend his contract for a second season. We thank him for his contribution last year and wish him well for the future. This allows us to explore further options for 2016.

I don't think it's unreasonable to think he may have been offered two deals for this year - one for SL and another for Championship and, as you suggest, he spurned the second offer. I hope our signings for next season aren't on the same deal.... |

When pressed for more info on twitter, he revealed that a SL club has lined up three of our players. One of which isn't Olbison, who he expects to stay here.
So my guess is Huddersfield, players being Gaskell, Ferguson and one other.

Frighting isnt it how we've struggled with our HB for ages then we seem to have an influx (provided these all go ahead)
Id like to try and keep Philbin if we lose Ferguson, possibly Addy he was rumoured to be going to KR but might have changed his mind to Hudds |

He's the new Langley, shove him at prop and be done with it. He's just an up and down man to take in carries.
I dunno what the dealio is these days regarding home grown players but we've currently only O'Brien and Lumb signed on FT deals and Olbison may be needed if we have to reach a certain number. |
