| Deja vu from the York game where it's took some effort for us to lose the game. As Greenwood said, don't think we went more than 3 minutes without doing something ridiculous.
I know it's hard to single players out from that performance, but was really disappointed with Foster. He was constantly struggling to get back in the line and looked to be blowing all game. Falling off tackles including one where he'd just come back on.

| The pack of a few weeks ago would have matched the Widnes 6. Outcome would have been different. The forwards gave 100% but outsized. The club knows what's needed.

Spot on.
Weak down the middle and addition to all the errors and we had no chance. An of the other play off teams would have put 60 on us. It was only the fact Widnes are so poor that we remained in the game for so long.

| Thought Gaskell was shocking last night. Defensively that is. Does not need to go high all the time.
Thought the entire back line was crap other than Gill.
Wynne had a shocker. Think he only made yards on two occasions. Sooner Holmes is back the better.
Patton I thought went well. Segeyaro had an usual game with poor distribution.
Thought Baitieri looked solid and will get better. Pretty much a like for like with Thompson.
Thought Lilley and Scurr were the best players we had last night.

| Rumour has it we could lose Lawford. Superleague clubs showing interest. Let's try and keep this one. We don't want another Wilson Trueman, Flanagan Jr scenario.

| I've never understood why Lawford hasn't got a chance this season outside the cup games versus amateur teams. He looked ready in pre season.

| Another one bites the dust. Surely there has to be more to this story? 40K isn't a huge amount of money when you consider the cost of signing SL players (albeit slightly past their best ones).
The frustrating thing is he clearly won't be ready for SL yet so will just get bounced out on loan or dual reg anyway.

| He’s out of contract and won’t sign another (apparently). The fee is compo for his age so not like we are cashing in, he is or will be soon out of contract

| Supporters will be up in arms if this in the case. If not, supporters need to re-assured that he is not leaving.
Noble along with Greeny has done a decent job so far but his philosophy usually is to sign older more experienced players rather than blooding young talent.

| Beattie on twitter reckons he wanted to stay but Bulls want the 40K. Should be fairly easily cleared up with an interview in the local rag!
I mean I'd be surprised if we have a young halfback with half of SL chasing him, deciding that he would rather stay at the Bulls but if that is true.. well it needs explaining to supporters.

| Assume the 40k compensation will be used to prop up and pay for the academy for another year.

| I’ve heard he’s Wigan bound and only reason he stayed is to finish his apprenticeship before moving fulltime.

| I wouldn’t rest too much into what Beattie says speaking to a lad who used to be in the reserves reckons Beattie and dunning were a big part of the culture problem at bulls and were extremely unapproachable

| Regarding the compo, I believe the rules are, you only get the compo if you offer a contract and the player rejects it
The new club has to pay the compensation. Granted it only has to be £1 more the new contract.
So I don't think there's any great conspiracy, we're probably offered him new improved deal, some SL clubs think he's worth a punt on a FT deal.
Let's be honest if an SL club offers him a FT deal, it's very hard for us to compete with that, as disappointing as it is.

Absolutely spot on Bull Mania. Couldnt have worded it any better my self.
The way people are reacting and talk of suporter unrest is just laughable. I was beginning to think it was just me that actually understands whats going on here.
The way its been reported (yes im talking about you Mr Game Caller) and by peoples reactions you would think we have just gone and booted the lad out of the club for no reason in order to make a few quid.
Some of the comments above are pathetic.
