The Administrator has repeatedly said that ABC are the only show in town. And despite various 'rumours' that there are other people interested, none of those supposedly interested parties appear to have made their interest known

Why would they announce it today if that were true. Why not not just wait until the deal is announced?

Unless they want get this penalty, for going into administration, out of the way before announcing a further penalty, for going into liquidation.

Two on-field targets now - first priority, make the play-offs. Second, and not to be sniffed at, more wins than losses for the first time since 2008 - this goes unaffected by the points deduction.

I think it's rather ungenerous to be calling the rfl given all the extra help -and time- the bulls gave been given. Keighley, doncaster, Rochdale and widnes all received the maximum deduction. Wakefield were given their points deduction within a week of administration- you've had yours a month later.

Regardless you should see this as a positive as it appears as if the bid is going to be accepted and you are to stay in SL- otherwise they wouldn't bother with the points deduction. It's harsh on you fans but be grateful you still have a club in the top flight.

Simply not true. The points deduction is for the 2012 season. The RFL have already stated that they will get the Bulls through the 2012 season so the points deduction should go ahead. If another team failed to get a play off place because the points were not docked there would have been serious problems among SL clubs. It has no bearing on the RFL response to the 'bid'.

Yes, but we didn't get any help from the RFL regarding extensions or wage paying, or any help from clubs i.e the money from ticket sales where as Bradford have, and we also sold 3 of our players (Obst, Millard and Ferguson) in the administration, where as Bradford havn't and not used the money they could have got from the player sales, to pay of any debt.

However put that aside, I hope that you get your future sorted and get back to been a viable rugby league club (like 2005!)

So some administrations are more administration than others? So Wakey and Crusaders were less in administration than we are?

Wakey and Crusaders managed to pay some of their creditors,the Bulls haven't,hence a 6 point deduction.
BULLS STATEMENT REGARDING POINTS DEDUCTION

Bradford Bulls have today reacted to the six points deduction imposed by the RFL for entering Administration.
Bulls Interim CEO Gary Tasker said:

“We expected a deduction of points by the RFL and we of course accept that penalty. We are not yet in a position to be able to offer any recompense to our Creditors and as such a six point deduction was what we expected.

You can't jump up and down and simply point at wakey and crusaders and ignore Doncaster, Keighley, rochdale and widnes. (didn't widnes get 9 points which was equivalent to three wins!)
Wakey were in debt to £300,000- bulls have got themselves into a much bigger financial hole. It's not the players or the fans fault-those at fault have cleared off after taking your cash! The rfl have done much more for bulls than they did for any other club facing this- Clearly the consortium is not willing to pay off debts and players are not being sold to do so thetefore the maximum penalty has been given-you can't have it all ways.
