Who would have thought in a million years that the Championship's opening match will be Tim Sheens vs. Geoff Toovey. Two coaches who should be at a lot higher level than they are! Looking forward to Toovey as our leader! Onwards and upwards!!! Feels like Brian Smith all over again!

Indeed. I don't feel totally relaxed yet. But having Toovey in officially is still a good sign of intent, and Jas Athwal while potentially tainted with being involved during the Green regime as a non-exec director is Bradford RL through and through. Also, his role was to bring new business into the club, and that aspect of things did appear to be succeeding.

Bit frustrating that after starting so well. No details of any real practicalities, and essentially we haven't learnt much more than was already speculated on in the press.

Well yes, but I was ready to have my hopes dashed that that was all rumour. We have two new faces at the club who are serious professionals. Under any other circumstances that would be considered seriously good news. Guess we've got a way to go before anything seems genuinely positive, and without a benefactor it will still feel terribly flaky.

From the what i caught on Calendar News live feed, it sounded a bit Greenesque when asked about the economics etc. it was stated that would be down to the stakeholders particularly the fans to buy season tickets, shirts etc. I wish you well in your new guise, but I can't help feeling something isn't quite right especially with the lack of much firm information when given the opportunity.

born in 1995. But my grandad and uncles all said there was something about the appointment of Brian which brought a sense of excitement in the air. The same excitement that I have over the Toovey announcement. In my eyes Toovey is a bigger catch than Rohan, Lowes, Cummins, Potter, McNamara and I dare say even Noble (he wasn't a proven coach at the time).

Within the briefest of time available,I would expect only football matters to be focused on, this the priority.Once feet under the table, other areas can be attended to and more information released as the rebuild commences.

As much as it's a little irritating to not find out some of the players, it's going to be a maxium of 49 more hours before we find out at least 12 of them (when they run out on to the pitch at the John Smith's).
