Depends if he was given permission. If a player is allowed by the club to speak to someone, they can do it whenever they like. If him and Lowes didn't see eye to eye, there's every chance Jimmy would have let him speak to whoever he liked. |

Yeah, I know that - it's just that Hudds have 'form' for things like that. At least he did it properly and saw his contract through and didn't just not bother turning up for the coach on an away game...

ant tamper deadline was changed a couple of years back it isnt september anymore, more like may now IIRC. |

IIRC last year of a contract they can start talking to other clubs from April. Don't think they can sign anything until May though.

Addy definitely needed a fresh start. As for Clark, well, he's hardly pulled up trees in the second half of the season.
I assume that neither had a credible offer from any SL clubs, which is interesting...

Sort of agree to be honest, though I would guess that virtually all clubs would have had their 'ins and outs' sorted well before the relegation was decided, so maybe it's not totally surprising. |
