| Quote LeagueDweeb="LeagueDweeb"All the other clubs outside Super League survive. The Bulls are a big club and should be able to attract a greater level of support than any other club outside Super League.
They should have a bigger budget, especially with the parachute payment, and therefore attract the best players.
Not being top dogs is nothing to be scared of. Look at it as a test of character. When the going gets tough.....'"

Where would you suggest then?'"
You're making the rash assumption that there is somewhere else. I don't think there is. I mean, there are places, of course, but any named or any others I can think of fall down for so many reasons that to me they just don't work. If i could think of a venue that would tick enough boxes then I would say but I can't.
If that is right then we would end up somewhere totally unsuitable and struggle to get out. Playing in front of three men and their dog at Wagon Lane won't build up a fighting fund.
Maybe the Council could build us a new ground from their share of the Odsal redevelopment. He said sarcastically.

| If Odsal is worth so much the obvious choice is to let the council get that money in and spend some of it on a new stadium for the Bulls and Park avenue. Or is that too obvious. I bet Green and some councillors have thought of it. I have been going to Odsal for 40 years and it is still a dump of a hole in the ground. Some of the new small grounds that rugby and football clubs are now getting look great. Saints cost £25m. Odsal is worth much more than that as a tip then development. Where is the problem apart from sentimental arguments?

| Quote Bullseye="Bullseye"=#FF0000As has been said already its the cost of maintaining Odsal that's a big expense and one that no other clubs are lumbered with.
I'd hope for a rent reduction and can see us just opening the main stand for games where we don't expect to exceed 5k.
We may survive muddling along but it'll need long term investment to get back to competing in SL. I think we can break even if the business is run properly.'"
don't think that's true is it, can't speak for other clubs but why do you think the fans have done so much work at BV

| Quote Bulliac="Bulliac"No-one said the Bulls were the only club with maintenance costs. It's just that the costs of looking after an 'iconic' ground the size of Odsal are way above those of a modern, breeze block and plastic, construction. Odsal with its new 'iconic' status is more akin to a listed building, with costs to match - to be blunt it is a money pit with no bottom.'" hang on akin to listed building, but the flats and the seated area are quite modern its only the hole in the ground and surrounding perimeter that is anything like yesteryear
