Probably would have got a lot more in if the pitch and terrace were £15-20, the stand was £20-25 and the Coral Stand was £25-30.

£32.50 to stand on the pitch atm!

I initially thought that a live entertainment event in the middle of a conurbation of 1.5M people (where few events of the ilk are available) would be a well attended.

It appears now that little, if any, advertising or promotional activities have been made outside of the Bull's own web site towards the potential customers.

Why is this? Are we bereft of the most basic marketing expertise or the budget to employ a professional firm to do it.

Perhaps there is a plan to advertise heavily next week. If not then I fear the worst.

You can't miss the announcement, it's been on all the news/entertainment sites.

Just saw this on your site.
Quite liked Belinda Carlisle but has anyone looked at the stadium layout for this.

It seems odd having the stage where it is as people in the coral stand will hardly be able to see anything

I can see what you allude to but seeing from anywhere in the Coral Stand you can see the pop stand OK.
See?

Eh? Wtf you on about?? How on earth do you work that out? Plus, that stand is the hospitality bit, it doesn't have many seats outside. It would be ludicrous to arrange things so a stage somehow faced that way, and thus away from the vast majority of the crowd.

Like they'll still be around in 2015. icon_lol.gif

Wouldn't mind seeing Belinda Carlisle myself. Quite tidy as I remember.

People who are in the Coral will have there own area in front of the stage.
There will be the VIP area in front of the stage, then the people on the pitch.

They'd get even more if it was free.

More still if they paid people a tenner to come.

And if each speccy was presented with a cheque for £10,000, then half the country would be there.

(can you see my point?)

To those whingeing about no marketing, "BRADFORD BULLS CONCERT ODSAL" produces 37000 google results of which the top one is a direct link to our event, and a Groupon link for discounted tickets.

Been on FB, twitter and emails. I think the marketing has been working very hard, so far as I can see.
www.groupon.co.uk/deals/sheffiel ... =1o1&nlp=1

Don';t know how accurate the percentages are, but here are the current deals:
One Standing Ticket
57% Discount - Save £19.50
Buy Price £15.00

Two Standing Tickets
58% Discount - Save £40.00
Buy Price £29.00

Two Seated Tickets
53% Discount - Save £44.00
Buy Price £39.00

These include 2 SEATED tickets @ £19.50 each so that kicks your pricing right into touch, doesn't it? Are you now going to applaud Bulls marketing for this?

They have advertised on Real Radio during Sunday night's "High School Days", which plays exactly that sort of music. In fact, I think the event sponsors the radio show. That's exactly where they should advertise as it's a local station and the exact kind of music. However apart from that, I agree, I've seen very little except for CONSTANT twitter updates from various Bulls staff and directors advertising it. Why they need to send that out more than once, I've no idea, as you either follow them or you don't. Sending a tweet out every few hours isn't going to sell many more tickets.

It's a real odd situation with it. They've hit the marketing nail slap bang on the head with the Sunday night radio show sponsor, but they seem to have completely missed out anywhere else.

I hope it's successful for the good of the club, but I think if it isn't, perhaps lessons need to be learned rather than just abandoning the idea completely.

I don't mean to be rude, but this comment shows that you really don't understand marketing at all.

As I have already said, it is advertised very extensively, there are literally thousands of places. In what sense have they "completely missed out anywhere else" ? That sounds frankly a nonsensical claim.

I'm basing it purely on my own experience and having not seen it anywhere else. If I didn't occasionally tune in to Real Radio and wasn't a Bulls fan, I wouldn't know it was happening. I'm not the only one either as I know numerous other people that actually didn't know it was happening until I brought it up, all of whom live in Bradford.

I'm not interested in getting into an argument with someone who can't debate sensibly and instead just gets incredibly condescending (as you do frequently, I have noticed on this forum), so I'll leave it at that.

Are any of them going, now they know?
