| Every club appears to have their fair share of prats some more than others
Yesterday stood on the popular side on my own and minding my own business whilst clapping my team off i was set on by two 40 something year olds pointing their fingers in my face and shouting the usual bile and vitriol in my face one so animated he was spitting on me.
Usual nonsense, no fans, propped up by ken davys money etc....
Now I was always told about people in glass houses
Bradfords away following at the Galpharm in the last 3 years has been probably the worst of any of the top 8 teams ( catalan excepted) and its the closest SL team to the Galpharm
Wasn't Bulls winning trophies when they were spending beyond their means
How is this different to the bank rolling by Mr Davy? Both spending more than their income.
I know there are a lot of very good passionate bulls fans but there are many who are downright abusive its a shame really

Apologies for those fans.
We haven't been a top 8 team though so its not really fair to compare us to those followings.
Its different as if you didn't have Davy you wouldn't be able to field a quality team like that. Spending beyond our means isn't the main reason we are in this mess either.

It's a sign of how things have gone this season that I am genuinely surprised by this.

| Huddersfield won the match, fair play. But they hardly did it in style. 3rd tackle kicking and boring us into submission, along with the fact that we were pretty awful in attack, is what led to our downfall. Given the fact that our halfback pairing that started the season are both injured and we were also missing our substitute hooker and first choice full back, I can't see there being much between the sides in the return fixture. The only teams who have beaten us comfortably and looked like a class apart from us were Wigan and Catalans. Otherwise there's not been a right lot in it. And after saying that we'll probably get battered by Warrington...

| Hardly did it in style? behave, in those conditions, two of the try's where as good as your likely to see at the crater all season
Broughs deft kick across field to McGilveray and then Luke George's superb try in the second half

*Were. If you must respond please spell things right.
What I meant to say was that you were, shall we say, less than convincing. Our fans have banged on about our "great effort". That doesn't wash with me, I expect great effort regardless of who we play or the conditions. You were the better side on the day. But not by very much. Which speaks volumes when you think that we couldn't even name a 19 man squad, let alone pick our first team. You're top of the league but there isn't a gulf in class between our sides. Which is the point I was trying to make.

Broughs kick to McGillvary will be one of the best this season at Odsal, Yes.
Luke Georges, whilst great to watch if your team scores one, its more to do with poor defending than being a great play. Shad Royston scored one similar vs Harlequins for us, and at the time I thought it was class, watching after the quins defenders just watched him.

| Im sorry but on that joke pitch it was hardly going to be a classic. Plenty of style on show last weekend and the weekend before... And befor...in better conditions- be thankful it wasn't dry. As for the injuries -it's a cliche but you can only beat what's in front of you-as Wigan found out first game of the season when we had one fully fit experienced prop available going up against the likes of hock (who according to the great seer Garry schofield is the best player in superleague) the pitch/weather conditions were in your favour but at no time in the second half did I feel worried.

Have to agree. Broughs break and kick was the one spark of brilliance. We had no one capable of doing that on the day.

The pitch was in no ones 'favour'; it was uniformly awful, a total lottery in fact and, as I've posted elsewhere, it was the worst I've seen it for over thirty years, but in the weather we've had over the last fortnight it shouldn't have been unexpected. FWIW I thought Hudds mastered the conditions better than we did, and scored one try as a result of our defenders losing their footing. To repeat myself again the Giants deserved their win in a game where the real contest was in the forwards but only one side dominated in the halves and therefore were the only team who really looked like scoring.
It was dry last year though, IIRC.....

| I thought we got the rough end of the stick from that pitch tbh. It was far from the story but it was a big factor in keeping us pinned at the Coral end for consecutive sets. It was definitely least good at that end, and it got worse during the half time deluge.

Wasn't Luke Georges try at the end of the first half? Were you not actually at the game and relying on updates from Radio Leeds Rhinos?

Will be so so funny if that comes to bite you hard on the ass at season end my friend, It would be open season and you couldn't really have any complaints

If I get my ass bitten, it will be because you have one at least one major trophy, and if that happens I will come on here and offer my sincere congratulations and mean it!
