Someone at the club told me Crookes will be a Hull player next season. I'm willing to put money on it.
No-one has mentioned it that I have seen but Crookes' attempt to prevent Saints' last try was phenomenal covering.

Crookes has been awesome this year, not just for his tries, but the way he returns the ball and his defence. Its brilliant to see him chase wingers on the opposite side of the field to him if they make a break.

How mean spirited. it was superb, and Wellens' comparative lack of pace is not at all the point. You might as well criticise Kearney for failing to get past the slow Wellens instead of applauding the miraculous full-back's tackle that it actually was. |

Not sure if this is the right thread but, whilst I'm pleased about long deal for Whitehead and possibly Bateman, I'm much more concerned about the lack of a long deal for Tom Burgess. Do we know if he is one of the players with whom we're talking? Considering Bateman's deal runs to 2014 anyway surely Tom's is much the more pressing situation.
