To be fair, we're not short on decent second rows; Ferguson, Alex Mellor, jay Pitts, Tom Olby, Danny Addy and isn't Lucas Walshaw still here? Plus we have the part time SRs like Matty Blythe and Purts who can fill in, and that's before Haggerty came.
Assuming no-one leaves, then Ferguson, Mellor, Pitts and Olby would be fighting for the starting spots for me, though Pitts and Olby plus Danny Addy may well be competing for the no.13 berth too. All in all, as things stand, the squad certainly isn't looking any smaller, which is what Steve Ferres said it would be. #mildlypuzzled

Derek has been very supportive of the Haggerty family, Gareth Haggerty's young child was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and Derek gave £100 to them for every try Ryan Brierley scored.
I think that says a lot about a person irrespective of what your perceptions are as fans of a rival club.

The only obvious thing here is, If a club were reportedly after one of your better players who is still under contract, who in their right mind would not want a fee for him, irrespective of your financial position. |

His actions with regard to the Haggerty family are commendable and heartening, so thanks for sharing the other side to crazy uncle Derek. My point of course was that in various forms, be that an article in MEN or an audible rant at LSV, few of us have ever seen anything remotely well thought out or constructive from him. |

I'd hate to think Kurt was set to have the same amount of mickey taken out of him as his dad suffered.
Roy has kept the RL after dinner speakers corcuit in gags for about 25 years.
