Hi All,
Thought I would let you have a little update on Little Miss Cookie's progress.
We managed to make the Huddersfield match (her first in person since we played Wigan at home). The Bulls sorted us out with a wheelchair space at the back of the Stand. She really enjoyed herself - cheered the lads, complained at the Ref and thought Huddersfield were offside at every play the ball, much the same as the rest of us

We had a little chat with Adeybull and a few others who recognised her from here and elsewhere.
Anyway, we got confirmation yesterday that she is to be treated at the ProCure Proton Therapy Centre in Oklahoma City and we are heading out 5 May for 8-12 weeks. Couldn't believe it when they said that the NHS will pay for the treatment, flights and accommodation whilst we are there (I knew I paid my tax & NI for something), we
just need to pay our living expenses (estimated at between £5,000 to £7,000). Apparently, proton beam therapy is not available in the UK as yet (I believe our first unit should be up and running by 2017) and so they have to send kids over there for the treatment. Thought we might have had a bit more notice than a week before going to get things sorted out, but needs must so we are going and will sort stuff out later. Family & friends have been great and they are going to do a bit of fundraising whilst we are away to cover some of the costs (anyone fancy going to a 3-hour Zumbathon in Huddersfield on 10 June?

).
Anyway, we will be keeping a close eye on things on here as our primary source of info as we go through what is a very turbulent time for our beloved club whilst we are away. So you will have some Bulls supporters stuck in Oklahoma wanting to know every little rumour and nuance coming out over the next few weeks. Hopefully, by the time we get back we will have:
- a sugar daddy in place
- a new BoD
- kept all our players, especially the youngsters
- be comfortably sat in a playoff place
- be free of debt & have no cashflow problems
