| This needs to be merged with the original thread.
The mystery of how or why the late claim was admitted is as intriguing as how come, if owed £1m, the RFL had until the last moment not bothered to claim for it.
But anyway the result is that Omar is the main creditor, that he therefore gets to appoint the liquidator of OK Bulls, and I expect is likely to appoint someone who will be keen to find where the bodies are buried.
Oh, and another thing: we had a whole lot of abuse aimed at Omar disputing what he'd put in to the club. The High Court has now confirmed that his pocket was out to the tune of £978,920. Whatever you think he did well or badly, he indisputably lost a million quid in trying to keep our club afloat. As I have said many times before, I for one will always be grateful for that.

| I got a really awful feeling when I saw this accursed thread back.... and then the relief washed over me when I realised it's just the rfl about to be made to look poor No. 7466.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| Quote: Drust "On the updated T&A article it states that Omar's legal fees will be added onto the administration costs and that the administrator is not personally liable. I hope this doesn't mean that Mr. Green will have to fund it?'"
No. This is purely Omar with an axe to grind vs the RFL. With the administrator getting a kicking in passing.
I can't see how this could involve Mr Green directly. He may be asked as a witness I suppose, also his 3 predecessors if it gets to that stage.

I think it's spelt PURE......and chased.
I think they should appear in front of a Commons Select Committee.

This was my fear when I read the article. Being purely selfish about it, I just hope it cannot impact on what appears to be our re-stabilized and re-energized club.

Oh, and another thing
Agree 100% with your final paragraph.
I don't believe this development will have any direct effect on the current club or the current owner. What might emerge is a clearer idea of the role played by the RFL.

| If Khan put that cash in whilst at the same time the club weren't paying their suppliers where did it go?
I doubt we'll ever find that out as they didn't keep up to date accounts.

| Found these snippets made by Addybull at the time of our second crisis;
[i"OK Bulls Ltd has a substantial deficit of shareholders' funds, built up under OK, and arising principally because the money he put into the club was in the form of loans NOT as share capital.
The club has no money; OK has no money and the two remaining directors clearly do not have the money to run the club or they would have bought OK out;
If the rumours that the RFL have been paying the wages since Aug who is going to be left to pick up that debt and I bet that will be one point raised by some of the other clubs at the RFL meeting next week?
No way on God's earth would OK ever have stepped back in. After the financial mess the business seemingly got into under his and the invisible Gerry's control. The guy is (or was) in a corner, and the only outcomes for him financially are poor, whatever the result. If someone else did not step in, he'd end up with an insolvency on his hands and he'd lose every cent.
Looking at a business with a net worth after just 12 months under OK's control of minus £1.2m (based on what has been reported) would say that is the very best OK can expect. And no level-headed businessman, looking at having to find ongoing funding at least till 1 November, would pay him more than a notional £1 for his shares."[/i
As far as I am concerned Khan was responsible for the darkest days since 1963, anyone who attended the first "Evening with the Bulls" were given a very brief glimpse of what he did, delivered with passion and deep feeling, and I suspect only the tip of the iceberg.
He took out far more than he put in, treated the staff like S**T and made some appallingly bad decisions. He used the "C" word as a comma in his sentences and was an embarrassing ambassador for the club.
I am amazed he has gotten so far, if my memory serves correct, much of the paperwork (accounts) under his ownership has either "disappeared" or we never recorded in the first place (what a surprise!). I remember that the bars made a "loss" while he was there - well really ???
OOh and another shock - out comes the racist card too.
Anyway - he has persuaded someone he is in the right (so far) and it will be interesting to watch events unfold.
I for one cannot tell who (if either side are) telling the "truth"

| A great deal of the above was posted at the time the three amigos tried to buy the club from Omar Khan and then, if I recall correctly. refused to pay him what they agreed, and then, again if I recall correctly alleged that the RFL 'advised' them not to pay Khan but to place the club into administration and buy it back with the RFL ratifying change of ownership without a points deduction. Mark Moore more or less said this prior to the points deduction and then the three of them accused of Ralph Rimmer of outright lying when the points deduction duly arrived as a colossal shock to them.
For what it's worth Khan has been demonstrated to have put money in (when nobody else did). Those purporting to buy the club did try to shaft him and welched on a deal. Despite this, I think they're almost certainly telling the truth about Rimmer.
Khan's alleged liberal use of the C word has surely been proved the most apposite commentary in this affair.

| Well we can debate this for a while I would think... But I doubt any poster here has enough knowledge of what really happened - that info will remain inside the club for a little while longer..
I know for sure there is a book worth writing here and I would be right in the queue to buy it.
I have dropped two hints to who I perceive is the best person to tell the story - I hope when he retires he does so !

| Don't know about Khan, Rimmer, Moor et al, but what I will say is tha Joynt went down with no-one near him and made no attempt to get up. And another thing, Withers never got his fingers to that ball.

A sentence that contains no errors whatsoever - and both events still rile me..
Next time we play Saints in the GF it could be two former foes on the pitch coming head to head as coaches. Very interesting!

| The info is not within the club though. We are talking about OK Bulls, and the sale of shares by OK to MM and RW, and the deal by BBNL that fell through to buy the business. The current club isn't anything to do with any of that. Green started with a clean slate, and none of it is to do with him.
The liquidator that Omar appoints will be able to question all relevant parties and that includes the RFL. That's likely the next proper tranche of hard information we will get. RFL answering tough questions? Now that would be a first.
