Given fergusons injury record, 30 games played over last two seasons so round about 50% availabilty, and assuming hes one of higher wage earners then that one wouldn't bother me as much as OB and would make some sense of haggerty signing.
Assuming worst case and OB is going but being loaned back for next year then provided it sorts out any financial issues guess its just what we're gonna have to get used to.

Ferguson one of our best players. Given te format of the league, I'd rather a top quality player just play the last 8 games than a bang average player who can play every game.

I know it won't happen, but some SL clubs need to feck off and develop their own talent. Some ignorant pr!cks on the Leeds board actually have the gall to claim that Robbie Ward - the young hooker Leeds were only too happy to release - is better than AoB.
Honestly, they don't deserve him if that's their attitude.

Ferguson would be a loss and is easily our most effective second row with ball in hand. I'd be disappointed to see him leave but I expect he'll be a high earner. Perhaps might make room on the cap to add in other areas. I'd be surprised if Wakefield had cash to sign him under contract unless he has done sort of SL club release clause in his deal.

Think this report by Derek Beaumont is well thought out and constructive, showing a lot of empathy towards Kurt Haggerty, It's good at least to discuss RL with Alan and share his view point on the game. The game as a whole is in danger of losing many good players, if we are not careful, through no fault of individual clubs.
