| Quote: Bulls Boy 2011 "Looking at the highlights.......
1. Crookes try was a result of Lulia shooting out. If he'd have kept in the line teh sliding defence would have ushered Crookes into touch. His try celebration is also worth noting for when we play them at Odsal.
2. The McDonnell try. When Crookes kicked through it looked like McDonnell was offside although I could not see where exactly he was stood when the ball was kicked. Maybe someone who was there could enlighten me.
3. Briscoe should have been stopped -_-
4. Holdsworths try (or Pitts can't remember) was a result of tiredness and defenders not being aware. It wasn't great rugby from Hull but good enough to get over.
5. Blythe's try should have been stopped
1. Lulia made his own call on what he saw as an attacking overlap
2. I was there and had no problems with offside by quite a few yards
3 Yup!
4. Yup again..result as you state was story of the game. Again you rightly state Huill not especially good but good enough on the day to beat us
5 Yup again. No dummy runners, they were nailed to the ground.
6. Poor decisions in defence did not help, but poorer decisions in attack lost us the game.

| That's just based on the tries btw from Super League Fulltime. The assumptions are my own. I didn't get to see the game so have no idea what our attack was like but I will take your word for it Lulia made the wrong call then :/ Should have help his line tbh.

The team didn't have an idea how to attack in the final 20 either for 60 minutes.
Could have been a lot closer game if we could have posted some points in the first half after having all those sets in their half, losing Platt was a blow, but could have shifted Chev into the backs and played Addy in the forwards so we could have kept BK at 6.

He threw the ball in the air and jumped. Cant see anything wrong with that, not as if he jumped into the crowd and kissed the badge :/
Thought we started really strong - O'Meley and Green were hard to stop in that first 20 and got good offloads away. After the 1st Crookes try we also bombed 2 more, Crookes dropping it with the line begging and then a poor pass to him on the wing which meant he had to check his run slightly before going in touch.
I thought we were always in control and your attack was to side to side without any real penetration

| Who was kicking your restarts, he moved the ball all over the place! I was behind the sticks in the south stand and every kick off looked a nightmare for the receiver.

| Thought Hull's defence, especially on the goal-line was magnificent and we missed far too may one on one tackles to win any game. I agree with those who suggest the moving of BK to full back after Platty went off was very important for us; Brett was already second choice in a half back set-up where we were already short on numbers, so pushing a forward, even one with good hands like Addy, was always going to be hard to over come.
The forwards drove the ball in well and drew the Hull defence a number of times but then inexplicably we threw another inside ball for a prop to drive for the line, instead of putting the quick ball out to where we had the overlap. I guess that had much to do with the halfback situation.
Hull deserved their win and I'll take 28 - 12 at the KC, particularly under the circumstances. Hope Platty is OK for the Cas game

Jamie Foster.
But then Ben Crooks kick offs were tricky for the Bulls to deal with as well in that 2nd half

To be honest he is free to celebrate as he sees fit. Jamie Foster spoke beforehand of his respect for the Hull club and how grateful he was to them for getting his career back on track. He insisted he wouldn't be doing any over the top celebrations if he went over for a try. Personally I have a lot more admiration and respect for that way of thinking.

or maybe crookes had just scored his first try for his new club in front of the south stand that holds the home fans and wanted to celebrate that moment!

And showed a (slight) lack of respect for his former colleagues and fans?
Not a problem with him celebrating though, but you can't say it isn't in any way disrespectful.

you're saying its disrespectful because he celebrated!!
he was in front of his own fans!
plenty of players celebrate tries, goals in rugby or football against teams they played against, its not a written rule not too!

Indeed. Blown out of all proportion, imo.

| He may well feel he does not owe Bradford as many favours as, say, how Foster feels about Hull. And his behaviour sounds perfectly reasonable and proportionate to me.

Never suggested it was a rule.
Also said it didn't bother me, but I still believe that it is slightly disrespectful.
Most other clubs would have dumped him after his injury record and early performances. That along with what he went through with his former teammates last season make it so. Still, don't think anyone will lose any sleep over it!
