He would still get smashed all over! Addy can use his size and get balls off and create a bit of a gap. Herbert would get one shot from a big forward in a hit up and wouldnt want to know for the rest of the game

Oh yes, a lot more.
He's taller than Addy, but not bigger.

| I think BJ should carry on at 7, Briggs had a big game today, but to me he looks as tho' he'd be a better prospect at Lock, with Herbert at 6.

What do you mean - as Eddie was the only pure person left on earth it was he who was taken in the rapture. It's already happened and you missed it.
What with that and our pack turning out to be quite hard, it's been a miraculous weekend.

| Briggs was quality today, as was all the lads. Couldn't fault them, Briggs was unlucky when Finch got his try, I mean we all call for the halves to do something different and he tried a grubber through, unfortunatly it didn't come off for him. Herbert to be dropped next week in place of Briggs and Jeffries

| I can't understand people making these crazy suggestions about playing Herbert or Briggs at loose forward.
Next week is a total must-win game, and we need to the building on today - not trying out people in positions they've never played in.
It's quite simple really. Play our best two half backs at half back, plus our first choice loose forward. For me that is Briggs and Jeffries in the half backs, and Langley at loose.
Anyone else is competing for bench spots. Simples....

It has to be the same 17 again for mine.

If all are fit or not suspended yes. If Raynor gets suspended then I'd bring Finnigan in.

Only change I'd make is to play Addy. If he's fit enough (he played yesterday in the U20s) I'd have him on the bench in place of Olbison.

Raynor shouldn't get anything.

| Briggs was quality today - his long kicking game was top notch.
Briggs and Jeffries are the closest we've had to a halfback partnership this season, instead of a 6 and a 7. Why would we break that up by bringing Herbert back in. He shouldn't get in unless BJ or Briggsy have a shocker, or are injured.
He's not a 13 either. I'd have been tempted to give him a try when we had more injuries, but our backrow was a rock today. Immense in defence. With Donno available and Addy nearly back, then he won't get a look in at 13.

Agree but then when Kearney is back in the nest six weeks, who do you move in the backline?
I think Shad has done enough to claim the fullback spot.
