| Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "When the season started, just a few short weeks ago, not many would have dared even think about a win at Headingley. I'd love it, but personally don't see away wins at the champions, or such as Saints, as required this season, when we have no designs on finishing in the top two and so can afford to be realistic.
Now is also not the time to be finding your best form, the business end of the season is when you need to do that, however sweet a win away at Leeds may be at any point in the calendar.
What has changed, though, in those few short weeks is that most people now understand we [icould[/i win away at the champions, and many are even tipping us to do so, whereas when the season started not many gave us a price.'"
Spot on.

| Great to see big les backing us to rub salt in the wounds.
He seems to know a lot alot about this bradford squad. Maybe he's met them when sorting his loan deal out for when the union season finishes

But how much of that is down to Leeds terrible start to the season? Bradford are about where I/most would expect given the signing of Orford. I can't wait for Thursday, it's not usually I get this excited about hospitality this far away. Even though they ended up well beaten on Friday night I thought it was a much better Leeds performance & they were very unlucky to go in behind at h/t.

| Looking forward to thursday, should be a good match.
I think if we get Sinfield, Kylie, Delaney & Ablett back plus a bit of confidence from the wigan game we may get a win
But this being RL and all you never know

So how come Bradford are where "everyone expects" and Leeds have had a "terrible start"?

It's self explanatory really. Look back at the table predictions pre-season & everyone will have Leeds in the top 2 & Bulls 6-9th. Why else do you think there is optimism about getting a result Thursday?

Then again Les is good mates with J JB Lauititi and Wllie Poching, so I expect he's been winding them up with Txts!

This IS going to be a hard one, one which I think we can one, but one which should not be assumed so.
Has the bog of a pitch at Sheddingly gotten any better over the last couple of week? I don't know where/how they have picked up all their "9 first team player"
On our own turf?
You have got to be kidding.
We haven`t got any turf left it has turned to sand mate.
What with all the rain and snow predicted it should be like playing on Blackpool beach.

Bailey could miss out for 1 match as he does have previous, but knowing Sod Hall he'll get a fine and a written warning.
Walker though could see him missing up to 4 matchs inc ours with that smash on Colborn

Really, what's that then? Or is a bad reputation enough to earn a ban against your local rivals? AFAIK he has one yellow in the last 5 seasons & no red going back to 2003? His tackle on Fielden was definitely a penalty but I would be amazed if it got anything but a warning. In a career that has disappointed since he left the juniors I thought he had one of his best games against Wigan.

I have a sneaking suspision I have missed someone out but I can't think who
anyway hopefully we should only be missing 3 now so we should be a lot tougher to beat. Getting 4 back is a massive boost. I'm hoping this game will kick start our season now.

| I'm looking forward to Bush v Beaver.
I'm sorry. I'm going to ban myself for an hour.
