| Quote MDF="MDF"Indeed, though at their best the Doors were ace, while the Bunnymen were pretty good (and best when they weren't attempting to be Doors imitators).
Both got away with far too much rubbish. I've only been able to listen to The Soft Parade twice all the way through (it didn't improve) and would happily ditch everything but Roadhouse Blues from Morrison Hotel.
As for the Bunnies, for a blast of 80s nostalgia they're fine, but I'm so embarrassed to think that I saw them as in the same league as some of their contemporaries.'"
The Doors best album for me is their debut, as you say the rest are variable quality with The Soft Parade bringing up the rear!
I was never into the Bunnies but have seen them at a few festivals. An acquired taste I think!

Probably not. Wakey dont have an out and out stand off. BJ wont improve them though and I'm glad he's gone from Bulls.

Me too. Sykes and Deacs need cover though for both form and injury. Maybe Kearney, but I doubt we're signing him just for cover tbh.

Signing Kearney to play FB. Halley shifted to the wing.

Under any normal coach, one of our - if not the- best player for us this season, would retain his position where he has been a revelation, but not Macca obvs.

Nah it's not going to happen. Halley is going on the wing.

Suggest you don't jump to conclusions till you see:
1. Whether he has indeed been signed AND has obtained Visa etc
2. What position/s (assuming 1 is OK) he is actually going to play. Might be 6 even or doing a Iestyn at Leeds at 1 then 6, with Halley 2 then 1 for all we know?
3. How the team as a whole pans out.
Just a thought?

I suspect Kearney has been signed to play 6 ([iif [/ihe has signed and does arrive as Adeybull points out), then 1 when/if needed.
My guess at a first choice and where others can and will rotate/fill in;
1. Halley/Platt/Kearney/Sykes
2. Sheriffe/Halley
3. Nero/Crookes
4. Sykes/Walker
5. Walker/Semi/A.N.Other(Rudd? Reardon?)
6. Kearney/Sykes
7. Deacon/?

Think you can write Semi out of the equation...

Yes, I think you're right. I wonder if we'll take a punt on Rudd? Or if the Reardon/Raynor rumours have any credence? I suspect not.
