| Although it seems longer it's because Youtube, and mass participation online video with it, only became the phenomenon it did in 2006. It irritates me too.

| Wish there was loads of video of Sir Keith Mumby's weekly "impossible" tackles. I could watch that all day, and you can't really explain it to people who never saw it. They think you're making it up!

| A recent addition to YT is Bradford Bulls V British Army in the 2002 Middlesex Union 7's. The Army were apparently the holders but were blown away by Bradford (even though St Helens had hammered them at Valley Parade the night before). It confirms our preference that we believe we watch the right code of rugby.
Eddie Butler provides a reasonable commentary but Jeremy Guscott is at a cringe worthy standard all the way through. I almost expected him to tell viewers there's a 3 and a half year old boy in Dewsbury called Sam Burgess and it's his fault we can't beat these rugby league plebs at our own game. Swing low indeed..

| The best thing was the Bulls never made any pretence of playing union. It was plain rugby, in defence, they set a line across the field and defied the unionists to cross it and they were very quick to snaffle the ball when the army went to second phase. In attack it was an off-loadathon with with fast and nimble players hot-stepping their way to the line. If it had been boxing the ref would have stopped in the first quarter.

| I went to the Middlesex Sevens with a mate and it was one of the best days. Every time the Bulls cam out and sequentially destroyed whoever turned up, all the Union fans around us watched in a mixture of amazement and bewilderment.
For some reason, Bradford never got invited back.

No, one RL crushing might eb an accident - they couldn't risk a second. Well, in fact we were teh second, Wigan had won it in 1996

double checked. st helens were due to compete in 2003 tournament after we weren't invited back. they pulled out at last minute due to an injury crisis. knew there was something to do with saints year after we won it.

| Personally, I'd go for Bulls v Fax video of the last match of the 1996 season. You know the one, when you had the open top bus waiting for your celebration parade. Victorian Craft Beer Café. Exit 33 Citrus Smash 6.5 % Mmm!

| As it's Grand Final weekend, my best memory was Old Trafford 2003. I drove up from Berkshire, and the Bulls didn't start playing in the first half, but Stuart Reardon turned the game around. When he broke the Wigan line to put us in front, I was sat looking down the try-line and got a clear view. We dominated the second half, Reardon was a very deserving Harry Sunderland winner, Jimmy scored a trademark try near the end of his final game. We won the double, and I drove home on cloud 9.

Don't be too hard on Mr Guscott. I read an article two years ago in which he said he was looking forward to our (original) World Cup, how much he liked watching League, and that the State of Origin was the best sporting event in the world.
