It would be marvellous if we could turn up with a full team and play like we mean it,
If we loose so be it, but please no more of the $h1t served up for the last two weeks.

No word, but thats hardly surprising, if he is 100% him instead of Walshaw but otherwise id leave Walshaw lets see what he can do.

Well, if you play like you have been doing recently, and so do we, then our pitch at LSV should get a handsome application of fertiliser on Saturday!

| Lets not write off Fax quite yet, if they do us and themselves a favour by beating Wakey, they could go into the last game needing to beat us to play in the SL playoff game. And at the moment they could quite possibly beat us again.

Well, as so many people predicted, its come down to a battle for 5th - and all of the Championship clubs can still theoretically grab that 5th slot (or higher, but its probably not gonna happen!)
The next two weeks will show whether we are the best of the Championship clubs, and if we are then we'll get 5th (at least) and will be in that one-off game.
If we can't beat Leigh and Halifax then we certainly won't deserve to be in the game. In fact we'll have gone through the season without having beaten Leigh in 3 attempts and 1-2 win/loss ratio against Halifax. If that happens we will deservedly be in the Championship next year!

| I'm all for playing players in their actual positions for his one, if possible. Siejka has come under heavy criticism this season, but he is, after all, a half-back, and potentially our only fit and available one come Saturday. Not really any point in putting him on the bench and playing a centre at 7.

I agree with that, though we have actually beaten Halifax twice already; Odsal and Blackpool, so if we lose the ratio would be 2/2.

| If Siejka or Gaskell are fit then Mullaney has to play fullback. After the last 2 games I can't believe people are wanting inexperience at the back again for a big game like this.

Strong ref for a change, I expect this to alter and Cobb appointed like the Widnes match.

Not entertaining the fact we dont have Mullaney at FB just if Gaskell isnt fit then we revert back to the Salford squad we had, no Chev, no Purtell at 6, play them in their correct positions for once, and keep Seijka calm if he gets sinbinned again TWICE im gonna kill him

Well you'd like to think that, should Silverwood pull out again, then Leatherbarrow is a decent enough reserve ref to step up. He's probably just as experienced as Cobb!

This. Being a half back (and not really one who can cover for any other position like Addy for example) you either play him from the start or don't play him at all IMO. Otherwise he is a waste of a bench spot.
I'm not a fan of HS, I think all season he's been a bit of a passenger. He's not really done anything massively wrong (other than getting binned twice in the same game) but he's not really done anything full stop, and this has made him look really poor. Against KR he did actually take the line on at one point (that I can remember) and found himself over the try line, albeit held up. He needs to do more of this. If it doesn't work it doesn't work, but at least he's doing something.
Like Bullcharge said, we have to start playing people in their actual positions when possible though.
