| Ticket prices will be the first indication as to OK's plans for future funding.
Obviously this has been prepared a while ago and included in his budgets.
I expect him to get his sums to add up.
High prices = lower season ticket buyers
Low prices = higher season ticket holders
Average prices ? What do we think is average after last years really cheap prices?
I await the announcements with interest

| People need realism here. We've seen the results of super-cheap season tickets, and we certainly don't want to go there again!
Surely the vast majority will accept the 'medicine' of significantly higher prices for the good of the club

A lot of us will but I'm not sure about the "vast" majority as you say. I think there was a significant number of last year's season ticket buyers of cheap tickets who rarely turned up.
Attendance reports were based on season tickets sold whilst the real attendance was less that 8,000 on many occasions.
2 points I would add here:
There is a limit as to the dose of medicine that the average fan and his familly can ingest.
As yet the fans do not what the team's make up will be, so presently not know what value they are getting for "watchability"

| Not all season ticket holders 'existed'. People bought 2 tickets in some cases to reach the 10,000 target.

| Hopefully they'll have a range of options.
Some sort of 'easy payment plan' for people who can't necessarily find the money right now. What about a third of the money now, another third before January 1st, and the rest by the first home game?
Perhaps 'half season tickets' - a ticket for any 7 home games, for example. Or maybe a special ticket for the first first five home games next season, with an option to then buy the remaining games at a discount?
Just needs a bit of imagination

| It will be interesting to see if they have thought of any added benefits to the season tickets to entice people.

Think most people would be happy with 150. Still cheaper than what we were paying in 2010 when it was full price. Bit of a balancing act trying to retain as many of the people who didn't buy season tickets per pledge. Think it's preferable keeping as many as possible on season tickets as next year is likely to be a step backwards on the pitch. We know how fickle some of our walkup support can be if the teams doing badly so better getting money off them up front. Then the following season were hopefully secure financially and have a proper recruitment period.

Not as much if you claim your points.

| What I think the club need to do is include a target number for the pricing structure, like the Pledges but without the sliding scale; "we're charging £x on a projection of y-thousand fans buying a season ticket", but not with the downsides of the Pledge, that was a risk not worth returning to. But with the goodwill and hardwork from last season, outlining basics of their pricing structure will help once again. Simply announcing the cost might put some off, but if it includes another season ticket sales target for fans to hit, it helps engage the fans once more. And yes, preferrably an option to spread the cost might also help.

| I think a cost spreading option is essential to be honest, along with family tickets, plus some other schemes which have been mentioned earlier, and done before in fact, like options for fewer games. Linking in a shirt, say a tenner off if you buy a ticket, would also be an incentive and with the profit on shirts it must be worth it.

If they could give a decent early bird discount and combine it with a spread payment plan ( say direct debit over 3-4 months) then it would help both supporters and give club a steady income over the off season to help cashflow.
