| Good to see Bateman back in contention, anyone got any idea how long Gale is out for?

| Batemans playing u20s tonight so not sure he'll back up coming back from injury.
Can't make my mind up whether I'd prefer Kearney or Jeffries in halves, neither fills me with confidence but i suppose Jeffries deserves a shot and it will disrupt the team less so:
Kearney
Crookes
Lulia
Platt
Kear
Jeffries
Sammut
Koppy
Diskin
Hargreaves
Langley
Whitehead
Addy
L'Estrange
Burgess
Scruton
Walker

| The big lad in the middle of the squad photo.
What stage is he at and what position is he?

| He was playing front row for Birmingham when we signed him.
Deffo a forward, not sure if he's played second row or prop for us though.

Agreed, gives us a lot more going forward, instead of the light weight contributions of Scruton and Hargreaves. Hargreaves or Addy at 13, steels up our front row massively

I'll go with that, but I'd swap Langley and Hargreaves around, get Langers in the front row for a change.
Also, why has everyone put BJ straight in at 6 and moved Sammut to 7? I'd be tempted to leave Sammut at 6 at put Jeffries in at 7, that leaves Sammut in his best position to utilise any space he may get at 2nd receiver.

Same here.
Cant understand why Batemans playing U20'S. Surely if he's fit then he should be in for the first team 17 on Sunday.

Maybe he'll only do 40 minutes tonight to see how he goes. If he comes through it ok he'll be fine for Sunday and might play.

| Wakefields 19: Mathers, Fox, Collis, Mellars, Cockayne, John, Wood, Wilkes, Ellis, Raleigh, Lauitiiti, Southern, Washbrook, Aiton, Johnson, Kirmond, Tony, Smith, Trout.
I think we'll go with something along these lines:
Mathers
Fox
Collis
Mellars
Cockayne
John
Smith
Wilkes
Aiton
Southern
Lauitiiti
Kirmond
Washbrook
Johnson
Wood
Trout
Raleigh
Hope to see plenty of Bulls fans as usual. Safe travels.

| Players to watch:
Paul Aiton - A class hooker IMO, great around the ruck & puts in the work in defence. PNG captain.
Steve Southern - A real grafter, will put some great hits in. Captain for 2012.
Isaac John - Looks a great prospect, organising stand off. Has an effective short pass & decent turn of pace.
One thing I would mention about the above is they're all on LONG TERM DEALS.

I have a feeling Big Ali could be on the bench so he doesn't get burnt out with PJ in the second row
