might not be a player that counts on one of the quotas? I forget what space we have (if any), it might even be someone we have to wait to announce?

| Someone on another thread mentioned the league express talking about Sammut's quota situation being resolved I think (can't rememeber where I read it I'm, afraid) maybe the two stories are linked? Sammut off quota so NRL replacement secured?
Anyone got a copy of the league express to confirm? Or am I imagining things again...

Was thinking in terms of French players counting as fed trained and Potters catalans link.

| Why isn't Langley being touted as Lynch's replacement at prop ?? I personally think he plays like a prop (when he is fit) anyway.
Might be a solution and free up the quota spot for somewhere else in the team ??

| I definately think that Langleys long term future is at prop, so it would make sense to play him there.
In an ideal world our quota situation would be sorted allowing us to sign Brent Kite! I can dream!

You can't replace Lynch with someone that only plays 10-15 games a season.
I've still be convinced with Langley's fitness - I was hoping 2011 would see him evade the injury table

If this is the case - well done to the Bulls for seeking/pushing clarification

But what is true is that this season is critical for him. The fact that Bryn and Koppy covered LF tells its own tale. Personally I would rather see a prop with a bit of go forward brought in and Glenn to LF, then theres less pressure on Jamie to come back too early from any injuries he gets which is how it seems to have been as we've had so many other injured players, and he can cover both LF and prop in the event of injuries there. what is also interesting though is the wording, resides abroad. Could mean anything.

| I thought Bryn Hargreaves had his best games at loose forward.

| For the Bulls, does Loose Forward = 3rd Prop ?? Surely we are the only side in the comp that would even consider this approach !!

Reading comments from MP, and others at the club, it seems the general attitude is that whilst you obviously need skilled ball handlers, the number on their back isn't all that important.
It's a different way of looking at things, that's for sure, but that's what he's paid for I guess. They could maybe just have a msg board poll about team selection, though I'm not sure that would be too brilliant.

Still no official clarification from the club.
