| I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't sign to be fair.
I'm pretty sure we have the cap space.

| rlFinch to leave Eelsrl
[i"Fresher reports are also claiming that Finch has no intention of moving overseas, preferring to find a fourth home in the NRL and that both Penrith and St George Illawarra are the leading early candidates to sign him."[/i
Whilst I would be hugely disappointed if we didn't at least make an approach with a class half back being a priority for us, I also dont think we should hold our breath. I think at least 6 NRL clubs have now been linked to him and Im not sure we are a more attractive proposition than Melbourne, Penrith, St George etc??

| Don't really know much about him, but I'd guess he's a better option at the moment than a crocked captain and an inconsistent five-eighth.
Get him in.

| I would hope the club would make some enquiries if a move to the UK was a possibility. Guess we'll have to wait and see, but I reckon he'll stay in Aus.

34439.jpg winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Your five-eigth has been one one of your better players. He has been cosistently good every week.Hate to think what the scores may have been without Ben's try assists. Doing alot more than others on the field. Check his stats!
As for Finch, if you want a player who whinges when he doesn't get his own way. Go for it. He wanted out because Daniel Anderson couldn't guarantee him a first grade spot.No player should expect that.

Unconditional release from Paramatta so he can sign for any superleague or NRL club.... expect him at Melbourne or St George soon, I doubt he's coming to Odsal.

Jefferies has been good, but we could move him to SH and play Finch at SO. Can't comment too much on his attitude as I only know what I read from the aussie press, but given that we only have two halfs at the club, one seemingly more and more injury prone whilst struggling to regain previous form, and one who can be very inconsistant you would hope we'd be in the market for any decent half back that suddenly became available for no fee. Which even with some issues Finch would surely fall into that category?
