| Not a problem if you have money to spend like Toronto. Clearly we are skint and our owners lack the capability to take the club forward.
Anyway when the season started Ryan Bailey was without a club. Ben Harrison is still without a club.
Would a few player swap deals not be possible if transfers are out of the question?
Is the only option just to accept inevitable relegation and probable extinction?

| I get what you are saying re Toronto, but would Bailey have been the sort of player we should sign just because he`s available. I guess he came out of retirement for the money and to Bully the C1 teams (easy money). Like most fans I am disillusioned with the lack of communication coming out of the club, but I feel there must be a motive we don’t know about in bringing Geoff Toovey here and him sticking around. There are other out of work coaches who could fill the bill for a skint club (Dewsbury just found one pretty quick) better than bringing someone with his pedigree half way round the world. I`m hoping that there is something going to happen which cant be divulged. Surely the RL don`t want to risk losing a big part of 4000 fans by the Bulls ending up part time in the C1.

| There won't be 4000 fans by the end of the season if we continue as we are.
If, and it's a huge if, there is a get out of relegation clause at the end of the season and the owners know about it they might well be playing their cards right in not throwing money at anyone. It certainly appears like it as the prospect of relegation doesn't seem to be on their radar once you decipher the press releases or listen to Mick's interviews.
Fact is that the poor performances will impact on crowds and income whether we're safe or not. And that puts the club in danger. The owners have to make more of an effort whether they like it or not.

This WOULD make sense apart from the constant own-goals and mismanagement that the RFL seem to excel at.
RL as a sport seems to be heading backwards at the moment and our overlords at S0d hall don't seem to be doing anything to stop this ( rlhttp://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/alarming-figures-show-rugby-league-in-decline/story-30141406-detail/story.htmlrl.
I don't think they would regard Bradford going to the wall as an alarming thing, I mean, they have Toronto and Toulouse to prove that everything is rosy, right?
Have some promises been made to ensure that fixtures are fulfilled, despite most being a one-sided thrashing at our expense? I'm not one for conspiracy theories but if you really were to milk that Bull one last time before sending it to the knackers yard this seems to be the way to go about it.

here we go again. We were recently the only rugby league club in any competition in the whole world at any level, which did not have and was unable to find a scrum half.
Did you buy that? I didn't.
Now apparently we're the only club that is unable to find a prop. Yeah, right. Shut up about Bailey. It is NOT OUR JOB to tell the club what forwards may be available and where, it should be a given that we have people of the competence to find them and the financial ability to acquire them.
And anyway, I don't get bombarded all day and all night by players' agents telling me who may be inetrested. But i know damn well the club is, as all clubs are.
So the "there is no forward in the world available" line is frankly ludicrous. Oddly enough, one minute after we signed a decent coach, a top class scrum half apeared as if by magic. Well, whaddya know?

Sorry I never said there is no forward in the world available. Thought you were the pedantic who pointed the wrong assumptions in statements out to other forum users.

| I think one sign we should be looking for is the good younger players in the next few months. If they sign on again with us after talking to their agents then they have probably being given some reassurance from the club - even if they can't say what.
If they start to sign for other clubs then they have no confidence in the club.
My gut feeling is something is happening in the background. Nothing adds up regarding the owners, coach and not spending at this moment. These people aren't stupid so what do they know about the future?
SL1 and SL2 with 10 teams in each is being strongly talked about. Four clubs will need to drop into the championship so who would they be.
Sheffield are refusing to allow Chisholm to move to us and will go to a tribunal. I can't think how they can do that. Can anyone explain how they can do that. If we are going back to the old system then Wakey and Sheffield may have problems purely down to their ground and gates. Salford gates are also awful so who knows how the RFL will pick the 20 SL1 & 2 teams and who misses out.
Next month the details will start to come out and we might find out why Lowe, Chalmers and Toovey decided to come to sunny Bradford. There must be a reason.

| This is like groundhog day. We already know that a league with 10 teams is not viable as there are insufficient games to generate any income of any size. And if there were 2 divs of 10 what is to say that we would get a position in SL2 given our present position. And just calling it SL2 does not give it any more importance than calling it the Championship. It might as well be called Inter Galactic Supreme Division.

Let me ask you this
I apologise. I worded this very badly on the way rushing out to work this morning. Sorry.

| Was Ben Harrison ever actually released? I seem to remember when Wire didn't give him a squad number, they said he was still at the club, but was expected to go out on loan (assumed to Leigh). Then the loan fell through and I never saw anything else after that.
