It's hard to think it will ever be 'proved', though.
As it stands, it's just one more set of allegations/memoirs/believed truths to be put in with the rest and unless someone asks him to show his hand in court by suing him....then, I guess it will remain as just that; his version of events.
If the authorities let it ride though, I think we are allowed to draw our own conclusions.

| Let's clear this up a bit. I too was extremely surprised and dismissive at what was alleged for the same reasons that have been mentioned. I had actually forgotten about it until I read Whitcut's publication which did make me wonder why he was bringing it up now. Clearly he think's that and other things are in the public interest. There is no way that the RFL is a racist organisation, the sport and those who who play, own, organise and administer it are obviously not racist as can easily be demonstrated. Within every organisation there are individual opinions which may unintentionally or otherwise run counter to the good or which are highlighted when emotions get too close to the surface. I'm sure we have all heard things on the terraces we would rather have not. That is very unfortunate but it will always be the case as long as humans are humans. I apologise unreservedly if I have offended or insulted anyone or for thinking Whitcuts publication was an invitation to 'chip in'. It was all done during a period of extreme fatigue and lack of clear thinking. I'm sure some on here will be glad to know I'm off.

| No need to leave RE, your points are as valid as anyone else's. In any case not liking Omar, on the face of it, is just that - not liking Omar. It's not obligatory to like any individual and, on its own, shouldn't be taken as indicative of anything else.
I think, judging from articles in the press and also from what some of the other individuals involved have said, it's fair to conclude that, despite the perceived persona given to others [including me] Omar hasn't exactly gone out on any kind of charm offensive in his dealings with people.
All that said, RW's post [if indeed it was his] is potential dynamite and can't realistically be ignored by those in charge of the game; the boil must be either proved to be an illusion or be lanced. We live in interesting times.

| when I hear that the call for racism is used there always seams to be a case of someone not getting their way, I fair bet that OK is not happy that he's lost money where he thought he could gain some through investment.
does he have a case for his financial loss or was it a gamble that he wasn't going to win, I fair bet he feels stitched up hence the stance

Are you serious? You are seriously suggesting that someone - in this case OK - actually thought that he could "gain money" by saving the Bulls? As you bankrolled the club to the tune of a million or so over a short period, would you feel this was a surefire way to "make money"?
Do you actually believe that any new owner would expect to "make money" from any SL club?
Investment my arris.

Spot on, FA.
I accept that OK made some blunders and miscalculations whilst running the Bulls, but believing there was money to made would have made him the biggest idiot alive; some mistakes, for sure - but a fool? No.

| His biggest miscalculation was ever getting involved in the first place.
Whether the actions of members of the RFL are racially motivated is impossible to say without corroborating evidence. However, I think there's enough to support the view Watt, Moore and Calvert are telling the truth when they say the RFL (Rimmer/Solly) advised them to go into administration. Whitcut (who is clearly no friend) supports this version of events stating the RFL advised the trio not to pay OK, and apparently closed a meeting early without resolution.
Additionally, whilst not responsible for the 50% Sky money scandal, the RFL worked a situation where any buyer had to buy the club without a SL license. It might be said the clubs voted for this but they couldn't have without this RFL imposed stipulation. The RFL have now issued a demand for the repayment from OK of the remaining 50% owing to an insolvency event which they themselves advised upon, presumably well aware that OK has already lost a large sum of money running into six figures.
For what it's worth I believe, Moore, Watt and Calvert, and Whitcut and I'm increasingly inclined to believe Michael Carter at Wakey.
The overall treatment of Khan looks very poor, bordering on the outright spiteful, racist or not.

| Agree totally about Omar's biggest mistake and I'd guess he's currently of the same opinion.
I think you're correct to highlight the 'advice' given to Moore, Watt and Calvert, this ought to be much easier to prove or disprove than the more tenuous [and subjective] charges of racism. I certainly hope the current enquiry is looking into ALL aspects of the administration - I also hope it is lead by a Leveson figure and not a Hutton type appeaser with a given agenda to fulfil.

| Its taking as long as Leveson just to get the darn thing set up. They have known the appeal was coming for weeks and still taking weeks to get it moving.

I think they are just hoping the problem will go away - well at least as far as the championship!

But they haven't given any satisfactory explanation as to either why they claim it is owed, or why it didn't appear as a debt in the administration until the night before the creditors' meeting called by ... OK.

Makes you wonder if the RFL want to wash their hands of Omar, and brought it up at the meeting to stop him causing a fuss in future.
Can imagine the discussion - "If you disappear into the background and never say a word to anyone about anything that went on during your time at Bradford, we will forget about the £900,000 that you (allegedly) owe us".
