I think you can still pay to get in the stand, I can't believe the club would cut off any additional revenue streams'"

Thanks, Appreciated. True makes no sense.

Blimey I don't think that the weather has been this bad at Odsal for a while.

Just how does the weather KNOW we are at home? I am getting really, really sick of it now.

There is not much to say about the game simply because the conditions were freezing and disgusting, and it is a small miracle that players are able toput on any sort of a show when it's like that.

London offered very little on attack - and when they did, they were determined to blow it, and di so very successfully) and we just chipped away, steadily adding to the score, in a very comfortable win that told us nothing. Except maybe that we can grind out wins and we can do whatever we need to. Oh, and that referee Cobb is at present like a lost soul. His overall demeanour is of a man who has too many rules and stuff to remember, so panics. Luckily the weather had already spoiled the game, so his inept pantomime display wasn't really relevant.

Good solid win. We overcame losing Siejka and Purtell early on.
Very impressed with our defence (which to be fair has been good most of the year)

But I thought we grinded that one out. Thought Ferguson was outstanding.

Joe Cobb is just an awful awful referee. I hope we don't get him for another important fixture!

I think our forwards won us that game. All four of our props won pretty much every collision and made a lot of yards. Ferguson was also excellent, and Pitts and Olbison were as solid as always. The London pack just didn't have an answer to them, which probably goes some way to explain the slow ptb.
London's best player was actually a loanee from Wire - the hooker Brad Dwyer looked very lively when he was on.

Ground out a solid win in awful conditions despite losing Siejka and Purtell.

I thought the forwards were excellent.

I thought the referee was very poor. The 10m was non existent and he allowed far too much rubbish at the ptb. For 2 fulltime teams the game was unnecessarily slow even allowing for the conditions.

A good all round performance, hope the injuries to HS and AP are not too bad, Henry needs to learn how to catch and hold onto a ball, he should not be dropping them at this stage.
This match had some of the worst officiating i have ever seen blatant forward passes, massive offside and penalising players for fun as far as i could see.

Tbf to Henry two passes he got from Addy weren't the best and in those conditions they were hard to take.

He did look good when he caught it and I thought Ulugia and Uaisele took their tries very well.

Thought the game was just safe. London offered very little threat. Yes our defence was respectable today, however London bombed two good opportunities from where I was. I thought it was noticeable that all the team were sharing the load as best as possible. Not sure what is happening with Mr Lauaki with his cameo appearances?

I enjoyed the game, nice try's a solid team effort. Not going to be hard on Joe Cobb although the professional fouling on Gaskill mystifyingly went unpunished.

Slightly harsh on Lauaki - he played about 30 minutes today in total.
Having said that, if Davies was fully fit I don't think Lauaki would be in my 17.

Lauaki is a big lad and I think will take a while to get fit. Anybody know how long Davies is out for?

Was I the only one to see that crusher tackle on Pitts? He seemed to hold his neck for a while. Great performance from him today.

Happy enough with that. Defense is improving each week. Anyone know why purtell went off?

Poor conditions, a lot of dropped ball, more injuries and a YTS ref.

Pretty much the day in a nutshell. And there are now blue skies and sunshine over Odsal

Yes all the forwards did a great job today. They all knew what to do, synched well. Its easy to pick out Fergie and Pitts but really I thought they all worked well. That performance will give confidence for the next big game. Maybe I'm pushing the boundaries a bit but they looked more SL standard today.
